"were eating there yesterday. beef tartar was one of the best we ate. the main course was also very good. when dessert we ate sorbet was okay. in the whole and already well but unfortunately too expensive... I don't think I'll eat there anymore."

"Situated on the edge of a beautiful lake this is a very popular restaurant no outside tables left but just inside was fine. The first waiter seemed a little stern and sharp with us so we set out to make him laugh at...our bad German and inability to translate the menu! All was fine then. He finished his shift after our main and the waitress who took over was delightful, and we all had a good laugh together. The food was very good and all fresh, very tasty and yes the chips are very good indeed. The waitress persuaded us to look at the cakes which were home made and these looked spectacular. Well recommended and very good indeed compliments to a very good baker. Well recommended enjoy"

"Nette Bedienung, freundlich und zuvorkommend, sehr leckeres Essen und großzügige Portionen, so hundefreundlich, wie kaum ein Restaurant. Wir kommen das nächste Mal wieder und freuen uns schon. Vielleicht schaffen wir es dann auch tagsüber um den Ausblick zu genießen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, Danke."

"No idea where the owners had been drinking in Scotland and Ireland, but if, as they claim, their own version of a typical pub is based on experience, they must have visited some pretty dire establishments. OK, it was off season, but the place smells faintly of disinfectant, has the worst choice in folk music one can imagine (think Sex Pistols meets The Dubliners, all sung in German), and apart from a friendly if slightly wacky barman, the other staff were surly at best, and just plain rude at worst. It is family run, and the woman behind the bar runs the hotel next door. Dollar signs in her eyes, and her heart is just not in it. She couldn't really give a flying fig. Menu confined to iffy looking burgers and fries. I repaired to the excellent bar in the Hotel am Hopfensee."

"for a weekend booked here with breakfast. classic room, something else was unfortunately no longer free, as well. in the parking lot search they must have luck and giduld. the checkin was very friendly and was connected with many information about the hotel and the surrounding area. the room was comfortable, only with a roof window, clean and also the bathroom was intact. bathroom and sauna towels are on the room. the breakfast leaves no wish. coffee specialties can be left on 2 fully automatic machines of a Swiss company itself. they can press fresh. the small white sausages should be in the water bath instead of on the dry one. the wellness area is small but fine! stylish atmosphere, large steam bath and sauna. the selection at the hotelbar is great. the Gin selection is great! at the cash register everything was very friendly and without problems. the entire staff is attentive and hospitable. it is a young team."
