"Gaststätte Jakobsbrunnen (Restaurant Jakobsbrunnen) is yet another fine restaurant housed in a beautiful building in this area of Stuttgart.A Germen/Greek restaurant to me we went here after visiting Der Rote Hirsch and Zur Sattlerie and were making our way back to Stuttgart City Centre when we decided to go in here and have a quick beer. Gaststätte Jakobsbrunnen looks great from the outside especially in the dark when it is lit up'inside it is just as good with a cosy traditional interior with great seating options and with great lighting.I would say this was one of the cosiest restaurant's we went in and the staff were excellent. We only came in for a quick glass of Dinkelacker bier which was served in perfect condition and at a decent price. It wasn't particularly busy in the side of the restaurant we were in but there were plenty of people in the next room having a good time. The staff came over to us a few times and asked us did we need anything else but we were only staying for one beer. When we go Stuttgart on our next visit we will make a point of coming to this area of Stuttgart as it is picture perfect (I think it is the Old Town) and spend a few hours around here and make a point of coming to this fine German/Greek restaurant and have a meal.Located on Tuchmachergasse.Opening hours are. Monday-12.00-22.00Tuesday-Saturday-11.30-22.00Sunday-Closed. Nearest S or U Bahn.U Bahn-Bad Cannstatt Wilhelmsplatz-U1-U2-U4-U13-U14-U19"
