"My recollection is the menu outside was mostly written in German and I only recognised some of the obvious dishes. I wasn't sure what to expect although it looked more stylish than I expected when we went inside. Based on the name I thought this was going to be a pizza and pasta place but it's not that at all. The friendly waitress translated the whole menu for us and it turned out to have a nice range of dishes. The food was very good and the value for money here is excellent. The chef here is producing some great food, the only minor fault I noticed was my sweet potato puree was a tiny bit lumpy but that didn't detract from an excellent dish. I would have put the rocket salad on the side too rather than stacking it but I think I'm being picky here! The heisse liebe was well executed and delivered with its components both hot and old as one would expect. The only things I'd change is adding one elaborate, signature dessert and making sure the menu has an English translation, particularly on the menu on display to passers-by on the street. We enjoyed it so much we returned on a second evening during our week in Kirchberg."

went there twice, one of the best places to eat in my opinion. Very quick service and good value. Also lots of vegetarian dishes. The name of the restaurant is a bit confusing, it's called Restaurant Gadia(?) or something like that.

In spite of the name, the current ownership has a menu that is predominantly Tyrolean. We have slow-cooked beef with spätzle and chanterelles for me and trout for my wife. Both dishes were very good, but the chocolate cake dessert was only so-so. The waiter was quite friendly and capable, but it seems every staff member in the restaurant stopped by to make sure we were happy with our dinner. As a kind gesture/digestif to round out our evening, they also brought us an apple “schnaps” (sorry I can’t remember exactly what they called it, but it contained hard apple cider with apple brandy).
