Stopped here on a bike ride really nice pub friendly service. I didn't eat but you can sit outside right by the canal. Well worth a visit and I will definitely be going back to visit soon.

Absolutely great place to chill, it's right on the canal. It has a garden for kids and play area. Pub sells food and location is right out the way. Very nice staff would recommend to anyone wanting to chill.

This is a great pub, particularly in the summer when you can drink outside. Love the fact that it is on the canal and not near any busy roads. However, although priced accordingly, food is very average. 'Pub grub ' at best..

Idyllic canalside pub/restaurant near Leighton Buzzard. Lovely old building in a beautiful setting next to the Grand Union Canal. Good food and wide range of drinks at reasonable prices. Always been well satisfied when we visit. If you've had a large meal with wine you can always walk it off along the canal bank!

Visited with my dog and met a friend there. Long story short: we'll be back! Dogs are well provided for. In addition to the items on the doggy menu, it is also possible to buy bags of biscuits that benefit Macmillan. The human food isn't bad either. . It has a fantastic canal side location. You need to be careful driving in.

The pub is average, no clear price policy I guess because I was charged different amounts in a weeks span for the same drink and the waiter didn't bother to tell me the price difference. The kitchen is always closed,they say it closes at 9 but one day I tried at 8 and then also it was closed. Only good thing is the location,rest everything is a disappointment.

This venue could be and should be so much more and so much better than it is. I’ve eaten food there on a three or four occasion, every time it’s been rubbish. Warm food is cold, salad is wilted etc. The setting of this venue is beautiful as it’s on the canal, with lovely outdoor seating, lots of trees and flowers, narrow boats against the bank but the effort of from the pub and the restaurant is a total let down. Shame!

Not been for a very long time, such a great location beside the canal. A bit tricky to drive as single track road and a very skinny bridge. Visited early evening and was quite busy but served fairly quickly. Although we were advised that a number of menu items were unavailable due to lack of delivery, there was still a good choice. Good arrived in good time and was well presented and all said very tasty. Desert did take a while but still worth the wait. All staff were friendly and helpful.

This is a weird rating...I was just walking past, and got talking to a couple, then chatted to someone else, then had a laugh with a bloke stroking my dog... so I never actually went in, had a drink, nor a bite to eat .... did not use any of the facilities however, if the clientelle/punters are anything to go by, I will be visiting soon, everyone was friendly, the atmosphere created was great.. only gave 4stars, as I cannot comment on it as an establishment. However location is great, right on the water xx
