"Stopped off here today with hubby for a drink and snack, What a beautiful clean airy accommodating cafe, Staff were really friendly I ordered a ham and cheese toasty must say the best I've ever tasted) while hubby had sausages on a baguette he also said it was very tasty and even though I was full possibly couldn't leave without having a Piece of Chocolate Brownie cake....De-licious! Wish I could award more than 5 stars deserves so many more. Will definitely be visiting again."

My partner and I just had an incredible dining experience! As vegetarians who also avoid dairy, we were thrilled to find plenty of options on the menu. On our way to Kendal, we decided to stop here and we're so glad we did! The restaurant is bright and airy, with very friendly staff and delicious food. It's quite rare to find a café with a real coal stove, which adds a wonderful flavor to the dishes. We had the lamb koftas served with salad and flatbread, along with a delightful New England chowder. I highly recommend stopping by if you find yourself in the area!
