My friends and I went on a trip to Berlin. We wanted to eat dinner somewhere, but we didn't know any place Where we could eat. And then we noticed restaurant "Good Friends" and decided to eat there. It was a great choice. It's a place worth coming back. Food is delicious and fresh, staff also very nice.

Searched for Asian food in Berlin an picked this out among many! Luckily it was great. Many Chineese at the tabels was promesing humbeld and friendly waiter gave us tips about the menu, he did a good job. Very tasty dim sum and fried Rice, lovely beef with black beans and red pepper. All in all the closest I so far came to original Chineese food outside China.

Every year when we are back in Berlin, we go to Good Friends. This is not just for nostalgic reason but we genuinely thought one can get more authentic tasting Chinese food here without breaking an arm or a leg. Last Xmas we were here and again we returned two days ago with some family friends. It has somewhat deteriorated over the years. The service is still tolerable but the food seems to have lost their appeal to us. It is perhaps time to find another Chinese restaurant in town. View menu

We ate here for dinner on a Sunday evening. The place was very busy, but we were seated immediately and service was efficient and friendly. We shared a corn soup for two (very unexciting) and had a peking duck with pancakes to start. The duck was fantastic - thick slices of succulent meat, a large stack of pancakes, sauce, scallions and cucumbers. It was a real treat. For our mains we had shrimp with chinese vegetables and eggplant in a pot. Both were delicious. We didn't have dessert, but the dinner was great and reasonably priced.

Amazing Cantonese food, wonderful atmosphere, fast and friendly service, fresh ingredients, layers of flavors! We were staying in a hotel nearby, looking for a dinner option, and were lucky to see strong reviews for this restaurant. We went around 7pm and the place was packed; after 5 minutes they got us a small table. Fast turn over. Wait for a table; you won't regret it, or better yet, make a reservation. Next day we went early and got a table on the sidewalk (wonderful during warm weather). Their preparation of crispy pork belly is out of this world. To fall on your knees and weep. The menu is huge. My boyfriend and I were looking for a good chinese while we were staying in Berlin - Good friends was described as 'one of the best chinese in Berlin' on Tripadvisor so we thought we would give it a try...When we stepped in the smell was amazing but straight away we were shocked with the staff. They were so rude and disorganized, trying to move a table of older people so that we could sit even though we weren't bothered with getting a specific table, they weren't listening to us and we actually felt uncomfortable.We decided to sit outside as inside was so intense, we ordered our food and not even 5 minutes after it was already on the table - not a good sign when the food come out too fast.....
