"This was our 3rd time having dinner there. We went on 11/08/23 for our 30th anniversary celebration. We ordered CARTE BLANCHE menu which we thought will be special. For the food, the 1st 2 appetizer came out quite good and creative, and the next few courses were a miss. the main dish, VENISON was gamey, it was ordinary and there's no WOW factor given this is a 3* michelin restaurant. My wife asked to replace it with Steak which was much better. For the service, it was OK, we ordered a wine pairing (240 pound for 6 glasses), the 1st 2 wines paired well, the rest of 4 did not. I am not a wine snob, I just felt that the wine were served were ordinary considering being charged 40 pound per glass. and when my wife told one of the server about not liking the choice, he only said OK. We have to keep calling someone else till get it replaced with other wine. For the grand finale, the restaurant presented us a very small cake to commemorate the special occasion, 30th anniversary. the cake was as small as the amuse bouche, what a joke !!! Can't say we will be back again this time."

Service was really good, but the food was not as impressive as other Michelin Star restaurants. I expected more.

The food was excellent. We had the scallops, ravioli with lobster, pigeon, Dover sole, beef, and the chocolate and a souffle. Not a complaint. Standouts were the ravioli and Dover sole. This was our second visit in 30 years. It was a standout then.

An overrated and over-hyped establishment with an unnecessarily stuffy atmosphere and obnoxious staff. There are dozens of better fine dining options in London. Kid-friendliness: It is one of the most kid-unfriendly restaurants I’ve been too. My son has been welcome at better, classier, and more traditional restaurants in Paris, London, andAmsterdam. A fine-dining experience that is connected with such a big name, puts the bar very high. Unfortunately, it was not met. The atmosphere is blank and the dining room is small. We wanted the full experience and decided on the cart blanche menu. Every dish was simple ok, not exceptional. And due to the large amount of staff, you feel you are in a machine that simply follows it ways of working. At the end of the night, we were very dissapointed and due to the extreme high price it tastes simply sour.

The expectations here are high so overall it was a disappointing experience. The atmosphere is lacking as it is a very small dining room where you sit inches from the person at the next table. No ambiance or decor to speak of. The food is excellent. We had the seven course tasting and there was too much food but all of it was great. The service is very lacking for a three star restaurant. We has the wine pairings and had four different people pour the wines with no explanation. The wait staff does not smile and are very robotic in serving the food. They were continually moving around the small restaurant bumping into each other at tImes. For 700$ pp this was not worth it.
