"Ok , so wanted an upscale restaurant w/a view the only fish I can eat is Dover Sole or Sole, but they did not have , yet their were only ......a FEW tables of people eating. Oh well...no problem.. I 'll order cheeses instead, for did not care for other main items, (but my family liked). Well this is when the evening went downhill. The main waiter acted like I was a pain in the you know what , because why??? He made me feel like you order cheeses AFTER your main meal, not before, but I assured him, on the 5 course meal plan that I would be sure to order something else later instead of cheese again. I really just wanted a calm, lovely evening w/my family yet they seemed a tad to snooty wootie for me. Had they never seen anyone eat cheese for course 2?? Oh, am sure, too, since we don 't drink wine or alcohol that THAT SET THEM OFF ON WONDERING WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE? . SEE WE WERE RUNNING LATE FROM A DAYTRIP out of Berlin called to ask if we should change clothes be 20 min. late or come as we are... not that we were total bums, but they said come right over. Ok so no booze, no fish, I felt like they thought WE were impossible. Funny thing is.... we ended up ordering more like a SIX course meal of things, instead of ONLY five. So, they got their money 's worth from us. Expensive, which I KNEW it would be, but the ambience was totally a bummer stressed for they had to kept changing menu for us. I had ordered a soup, too, but when they said it had wine in it...I said, no..bring me bread , or something of the sort, I 'll be fine but they seemed to be getting exasperated on having to accommodate our diet needs/ wants. OMG. Will not return, but am sure, they don 't care if we do though we paid $600- for 3 people which I expected. Bottom line, call before to make sure they save you a Sole !"

The evening was once again beautiful. The menu by Mr. Fauster was perfect for my taste, and the service by Restaurant Manager Mr. Adam was excellent. I am very pleased and look forward to returning to the new royal court.

We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant with its delicious food and friendly service. We opted for the tasting menu with four courses and enjoyed the entertaining advice from the Sommelier. It's a shame that the restaurant will be demolished soon.

Innovative first class tasting menu-did the 8 course variant. Very accomodating. We were getting full so they let us skip a course and deducted the price! Outstanding Somm, got us to try a wonderful Bavarian Sylvaner. Not expensive but great accompaniment to food. Highly recommend and will be back next time in Munich. Tip o’ the hat to Amex Platinum Concierge for the recommendation.
