"I have eaten with my wife here this afternoon after I had already set pictures before ostern, I wanted to get to know the house of faithful also from inside. beautiful ambiente inside, maritim furnished, old wooden planks, frriesian tiles, an old wooden boat as bank, everything very well maintained. the menu contained a lot from the sea, we then ordered the crumb bread and the fish plate with 3 sorts fish and North Sea crabs. the nice man brought me the cola, later eat it. everything was very tasty and fresh, the salad consisted of paprika, gurke, tomate and various leaf salads. the toilet area at the back of the garderobe also top. this local one can recommend for jever, even the prices were appropriate for what was prepared for us there."

"Wir waren zu viert das erste Mal dort. Service war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Wir hatten jeweils Vorspeisen und Hauptgerichte mit Fisch und Fleisch. Alles war sehr gut, wobei schon der Beilagensalat überraschend gut war! Ich hatte die Maischolle zum satt essen und war begeistert (22€ . Leider habe ich nur drei Schollen geschafft, aber ich würde das Gericht immer wieder bestellen. Preis-Leistung ist fair, Qualität stimmt!"

"We stopped at Der Butt early evening on Saturday, a party of 3 without a reservation. We were fortunate to secure a table outside and there was a warm welcome for us. There is an extensive menu but the 'catch of the day' special was recommended to us by the host. This comprised four fish each, of three varieties, beautifully freshly fried and served with butter, shrimps and lemon, and sauté potatoes and cucumber salad on the side. Freshly cooked bread was provided to the table including an unusual curry bread. Food was served quickly and was delicious. We had eaten too much to try dessert!This was a wonderful impromptu meal with good service provided by a number of servers and excellent food. We would return if we are again in Jever."

"In the course of the Old Town Festival we visited the café. While two family members were already sitting and buying drinks, two members were standing in front of their chairs and told the waiter that they would not want to drink. Then the waiter’s face was darkened and said extremely rude: “If you don’t drink, you can’t sit down,” and immediately turned to another guest. After addressing the waiter, whether he really meant that, you only received stuttering words with the end: “Always, sit down” (of course rude and energized! . Certainly we understand that there are guests who occupy the chairs and tables without ordering anything. Of course you want and need to earn money as a gastronomic. But there were family members who gave up an order. This is true of total misunderstanding, but even we still accept that. But the waiter's concern so rudely, NO, even in such an undamaged tone, and once again as a guest has been asked, not even to try, let us look deeply. We will never recommend it!"

"Bodenständiges italienisches Essen, wie auch wir Deutschen es lieben. Z.B. die Spaghetti Bolognaise als Sugo, nicht mit pampiger Sauce. Der Salat immer frisch!Oft überbucht. Aber das liegt am kleinen Restaurant, eben "Cassetta" mit begrenzten Kapazitäten, aber super Service. Und gefühlt ganz Jever nutzt den Lieferservice.Die Atmosphäre ist toll, der Service ebenfalls. Das Ambiente und die Stimmung sindspürbar positiv. Im Sommer kommt auf der Terrasse Urlaubsfeeling auf und im Winter ist es heimelig. ."
