"Very welcoming indeed locals and staff. Whilst on our hols popped in as it was the local pub to where we were staying. Hoping to get food one evening but we'd missed their food hours so the bar man was very helpful by recommending another pub to us aswell as ringing through to see if they still had food on and checked if they had space for us which was really appreciated, my other half said well you don't get that back home and to be honest shes not wrong by saying that . However we did manage to stop for food one night and we weren't disappointed. I got a lovely chicken korma with half n half chips/rice and my other half had fish and chips which was a lovely piece of meaty fish with drinks. All in all, very reasonably priced honest food and drink. Will visit again when we visit Wales again. Parking: Parking is at the back of the pub Kid-friendliness: They was a couple of well behaved children so guess they are child friendly Wheelchair accessibility: The only steps I saw was from carpark to beer garden but you can get to the beer garden threw the pub were there isn't any steps"

On Friday night, there was a lively acoustic jam session at the restaurant, complete with Guinness and jam sandwiches. The atmosphere was friendly and inclusive, with everyone welcome to join in the singing. Many thanks for a great experience!

This pub is fantastic. The homemade chips are delicious and the food is well-priced. They also have a quiz night on the first Wednesday of every month. The cost is between £10-20 per person. The food, service, and atmosphere all receive a top rating of 5.

I had a wonderful experience at this charming and welcoming pub. The staff were friendly and the Friday music evening was fantastic, with local musicians playing instruments and singing. I was especially impressed by the talented man and woman duo from Yorkshire who performed. I can't wait to visit again!

We had a fantastic Sunday lunch at this restaurant, with generous portions. We especially enjoyed the 5 different vegetables, all cooked perfectly without being soggy. The gravy was thick and delicious. We were so full, we couldn't even manage a dessert. The price per person was between £10-20 and the food and service both received a perfect 5 rating. The atmosphere was a 3. We highly recommend trying the Sunday Roast.

I had a wonderful beef roast dinner at this restaurant on 22/10/2023. The portion of meat was generous and it was served with a variety of vegetables. The gravy was thick and delicious. The price was very reasonable, ranging from £10-20 per person. The food and service both received a rating of 4, while the atmosphere was rated a 3. I would recommend trying the Sunday Roast. There is plenty of parking available, with a free parking lot nearby.

Fantastic pub. Fantastic people. Fantastic food. It really is a great little spot if you want to find an old school venue for pub grub. Pool table and a gambling machine give it proper pub vibes. It’s not a polished weatherspoons type venue thankfully! You’ll find a great selection of beers and ales, as well as plenty of non alcoholic drinks and nibbles. The food menu is proper pub grub and it’s really tasty. Attended as a group of 5, we all had different meals and everyone was more than happy. Parking: There’s space for probably 25 cars in the car park, great space. Kid friendliness: Fantastic family run pub the kids loved it, they take great care to explain that the plates are hot and make...
