Hackendahl - Menu

This bar is a very nice relaxing stylish bar. Great decor and drinks. Definitely worth dropping in. The review referring to it as an Irish bar is misleading - the Irish bar is over the road!

Loved everything about this place. The building is beautiful and the service and beer were great. We were looking for a bar with a relaxed atmosphere for a Sunday night of drinks and this place fit the bill perfectly.

Didnt eat here but interesting place just for a drink. But be aware that the spirit size served is small and expensive.Asked for a Bacardi to be told you will not get Bacardi in Berlin, rubbish as everywhere else had it. View menu

Stopped in here for drinks after hours of site-seeing. Sat at the bar and chatted with the bartenders. Great selection of interesting Gin and Whiskeys, and a long beer and cocktail list. Thanks for a fun couple of hours! :)

The Irish bar across the road was very busy so we crossed over to Hackendahl.Although it was busy, the barman quickly found us a table and our drinks were brought promptly. Water was also brought. The beer was great.The place was really quirky and full of locals and tourists.

I do jot know why i went to Irish pub in Berlin. I believe the offer of German drinking bars is way too small and then you need to go to Irish one. This place is so chilled, relaxed and quirky. The building, the decor, the furniture has so much character. Both old and young, professional and hippie hangout there. The bar small but has a huge and a very interesting and impressive gin selection. It is a must-visit place for gin lovers like me, but if you don't like gin, don't worry, they have plenty of beers too.

- Und selbst aus anderen teilen der Stadt lohnt sich ein Ausflug dort hin. Tolle, Atmosphäre, nettes, uriges Team, interessante Gäste und, natürlich eine Super Barkarte. Sehr zu empfehlen für Gin-Geniesser! Also hin und am besten mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln, wie da sind Straßenbahn, Haltestelle beinahe vor der Bar, S-Bahn (Bahnhof-Friedrichstrasse) zirka 300 Meter entfernt. Wird bestimmt ein toller Abend!Ach ja, Kleinigkeiten zum Essen, gibt es da auch!

I am a bit hesitant to recommend this place because I absolutely loved it and would like to find a seat when I am next in Berlin. Forget the distressed hipster chick - these people know what they are doing. There is a wonderful gin and whiskey menu (some nice not so common brands as well). I loved the Berliner food: not haute cuisine but solid and yummy. What really impressed me is the staff. Our Italian waiter did not just recognize us again (we went 3 times, and one of these we could not get in), but he also remembered what we had and recommended other drinks we may like.
