"I just love the Häppies! They are a sort of yeast dumplings, with different fillings and toppings, all named after friends or family members of the owner (as far as I understood). The owner seems to be one of the happiest persons on this world, always smiling and always nice to the guests, which can be a bit stressful when you're more a quiet person. The 'Rhabarberlimo' (rhubarb - vanilla lemonade) is just amazing (the recipe is by the owner's father), and I personaly LOVE the Bärbel-Häppie (Dumpling with goatcheese-honey-walnut filling rocket-pesto and cranberries). If it was a little bit bigger, it would get the highest ranking, but since there are only three small tables, it's hard to enjoy the food with a group larger than 4 people."

Only 3 tables in this tiny spot nice and friendly but more suited to a quick cup of coffee than a meal

Super tasty. You anticipate getting a normal Germknödel and it's the most delicious that one might expect it to be. Cozy interior and friendly, positive staff! Thank you

The food is great, the service was very friendly, helpful and explained everything what ingredients they use. I will definitely come back and try more things. The sweet one was the best.

These dumplings have only few varieties of them. But there is no reason for a neverending menu list! They are very tasty and there is the Vegan and Vegetarian option. Super good value! :D Definitely coming back!

The idea of Germknödel in different varieties is great. The flavors are multitude and very innovative. Service is exceptionally friendly. Only downside is, that my Knödel seemed a bit undercooked. I would go there again though.

We found this restaurant (due to its size and decor I would say a tiny coffee shop) by accident while strolling in Berlin's vibrant Prenzlauer Berg neighbourhood. They offer a varied selection of dumplings with unique fillings. We ordered the green & orange ones which were delicious! We'll definitely come again.

Pillowy clouds of deliciousness filled with scrumptious secrets, covered in delicious sauces, and served with a crunchy fresh salad and a smile in a sunny, sweet spot. Extra points if you get the rhubarb vanilla lemonade! Uli's joyful personality fills the whole cozy shop and makes for a meal that feeds both your stomach and your heart. I am so glad we stopped in on our trip to Berlin, and I hope häppies is an international success ASAP so I can have some back home. :)(PS: if you don't have enough cash to, as I did, buy three tote bags, there is a cashpoint on the same block!)
