"Hexenlochmuhle (literally translated as Witch's hole mill) is basically that. it was originally a very old watermill now turned into a little souvenir shop with a restaurant to eat at . it is definitely built at what feels like the bottom of a hole (it seems to be a long and endless drive down, down and ever downwards to get there). Not sure where the Witch part of it came from. I have been there before from time to time over the years. Pleasant surrounding view to eat at and an interesting downward spiral of a road journey to get there. The food is more kind of a cake and coffee thing than a full blown meal but the cake is great. A pleasant place to break for a morning brunch or an afternoon tea."

Beautiful little hiking restaurant in the Black Forest. You can enjoy good food or just a coffee and cake. There is also a small souvenir shop.

We made a short stop at this pretty little place next to a stream whilst motorcycling through the black forest, go there even if its just for a coffee as the roads around the area are beautiful.

This place is known in the area to do one of the most beautiful Black Forest cakes, and they probably do. It was delicious. If you're in the area and curious about this cake, don't miss the opportunity.

Cosy place in the Black Forest! Between the mountains, in the middle of the forest, on a brook, you will find this idyll. Here you can come in and let the soul knock. Of course there are also souvenirs of the Black Forest.

In the restaurant you can enjoy a coffee and cake wonderfully after a trip or as a stopover or also eat very tasty. In the basement, small secret tip, you can consider the old transfer of the mill during the operation. Great if you haven't seen anything like that. Always happy.

A Black Forest Tour ends there, where you thought there is nothing more and then came such a beautiful water mill in sight, idyllicly situated just TOLL with small guest room and large outdoor cell with plenty of space to settle down, price/performance simply top, card payment also possible. Very nice ambience, eating very good, plentiful and reasonable. Recommendation: Flame cake or roast. The service is friendly and accommodating. The farm with spirits and a meat table is well equipped with all kinds of Black Forest specialties. Unfortunately, the air-dried and smoked Mettwürste survived only at the end of the holiday.
