"we stopped here as part of a large group in a travel bus. great location right at the brandenburger tor. the lunch was included in our tour. it was served in family style on tables with 6 to 8 people - sour wort, kartoffels, sausages etc. plus beer and dessert. our eating was very good and enjoyed the family style very, as it was talking among strangers. we were next to the kitchen, so we saw all sorts of wonderful looking teller coming out with food and they smelled good. the load was full – we were the largest group, but there were also medium-sized groups of businessmen in suits and here and there a few smaller tables. I have to admit that the service was not so great. there was no kind greeting to our table, several ask for an additional crippled water remained unfulfilled. not much interaction after the food was served. I thought maybe it was because we were a big pre-order group. or maybe there weren't enough personal, as they were constantly on the go with food makers and had no time to refill, etc. lack of good service reduces the experience, even if eating is good."

great location in berlin near the brandenburger tors. eat extremely average. nothing special, only okay. Do not go for a compulsive beer for a special meal/offer.

with the time to eat between the brandenburger tor and the rich day, we found this jewel! very traditional German selection with cold beer. there was more than enough to eat.

we were here with a large group of people from different countries. the sitting area outside was nice, but too little staff to be finished - we had booked in advance. the service was slow, eating was in order, but the pork was ready and hard, pity. meter bier was interesting.

the food is in order and the situation is excellent. a bierstube with traditional German food without claiming high quality. something overpriced, but still in order. atmosphere 3. 5 eat 2. 5 service 2. 5 price 3 wine card / beer card 3 if they are close, we do not come back.

here in the hopfingerbräu drank a few beers before it went to the brandenburger tor. the restaurant is practically located at most tourist sites and many people stop here to feed. but we find the service very slow, especially because we sit on the outside of the rest. we had enough of waiting and went after a beer.

hopfingerbräu is a pub/restaurant near the brandenburger tors in the center of berlin. we came here and stayed in an indoor terrace where we could choose a selection and taste a probably best curry sausage I have ever tried in Germany. a very good place to come to lunch or brunch, relax and continue their visit in berlin.

good German food in great location. we have eaten here as part of a group at lunchtime when we visited the brandenburger tor and the rich day. Although our group included 40 people, it was quite good to eat and was served in a family style with German efficiency. we were able to get in and out in less than an hour and still didn't feel craved.

we ate here at lunchtime when we visited the brandenburger tor. we both had the sharp curry sausage that was really excellent - a bit like a good madras, served with pommes. we had the special offer of coffee and cake, which was also excellent. the white beer was also excellent - a bit like a good real ale ... the waitress who served us was first-class, - extremely pleasant, spoke excellent English and could describe the differences between the curry sausage varieties offered.
