"This place was close to my hotel and I love Vietnamese food, so I gave it a try. The first impression when walking into the restaurant was not overwhelming. Think snack bar. But then I ordered a Vietnamese specialty, bun bo la lot, beef wrapped in betel leaves with noodles veggies. I've had this dish in Vietnam many times, and I was very surprised that the dish here at Huong Viet could keep up with the Vietnamese originals. Many times Vietnamese restaurants outside Vietnam are unable to recreate the authentic flavours because of the difficulty involved in obtaining the proper ingredients. But Huong Viet did the job very well. Excellent Vietnamese food in Germany! Cam on nhieu !"

In a rainy weekday early evening there was no client when I arrived. My half skeptical image was so easily wiped off when their dishes arrived and tasted them. Full of flavours with such a warm ambient. I am already looking forward to being back here, definitely with my family next time!
