Arrivati per caso guardando le indicazioni di Google maps, una piacevole sorpresa. La disponibilità è simpatica accoglienza del gestore, i piatti offerti, buoni e genuini. Lo consiglio. Deliziosa esperienza, posto incantevole immerso nel verde. Giuseppe, il proprietario, cordialissimo e simpaticissimo, piatti buonissimi frutto di una cucina naturale e genuina, una grigliata superlativa di carne morbidissima e gustosa. Ambiente rilassante e familiare, buon vino e dolce delizioso. Da ritornarci sicuramente.

Destinazione ideale per 'disinnescarsi ' dal traffico quotidiano, dove poter chiacchierare e gustare della compagnia di un oste che conosce il proprio lavoro meglio delle proprie tasche. Ottima cucina, location accogliente e affascinante. Ho avuto occasione di riposare anche nelle camere offerte al piano di sopra riscoprendo il piacere del sonno lontano dalla città. Perfetto anche per viaggiatori con animali. Il Capannino è diventata una garanzia per me e molti miei conoscenti.

Il Capannino is a restaurant that exudes the personality of its owner Giuseppe. By this I mean that it is based on a passion for good food in comfortable but stylish surroundings where you are made to feel at home immediately. Located a little off the beaten track, but then most things are in this part of Tuscany, the restaurant is in a beautifully restored building in the local idiom. Filled to the brim with amazing and interesting artworks the surroundings are at once homely and tasteful. A home from home in a peaceful, bucolic and beautiful setting on a Tuscan hillside overlooking the Tiber valley. The road to this idyllic place is rough in places but one will forget all about that on arrival. There are three aspects to this small hotel and restaurant. First, Giuseppe, the owner, who speaks excellent English and knows London well, greets one as a long lost friend. He goes out of his way to satisfy all tastes e.g one of our guests is on a special diet and he made sure that her needs were fully satisfied. È un posto incantato, nel mezzo della natura rigogliosa. Semplice , selvaggio, genuino, unico nel suo genere. L’accoglienza è stata delle migliori grazie a Giuseppe, il proprietario, un po’ naïf e completamente blasé alle mode artistico/ stilistiche e culinarie del momento. Qui si mangia tutto preparato da lui, dall’antipasto ai liquori aromatici alle erbe e bacche del bosco. I pasti sono cucinati usando le spezie cresciute spontaneamente, semplici ma molto gustosi e creativi. Firstly….you need to book…don’t just turn up. You’ll be turned away. Please don’t see this as a bad thing but see it as a place, nay a man, that cares about your experience. Secondly…you won’t get a menu. You don’t need one, speak with Gio when you book and trust his skill to give you an amazing dining experience. This place is Italy rolled up into one place. The quality is amazing, everything fresh, prepared just for you and your tastbuds will tell you something that you’ve never experienced.
