"First time visit here and we were delighted with the quality taste of the food. It was a really cold day so the broccoli soup warmed us up beautifully and the salmon was melt in the mouth yummy. The fixed price menu was excellent value. The decor was great the writing on the walls really appealing. The waiting staff weren't the most experienced but a senior member of the team kept an eye on them. Our only other comment is that the restaurant could have been a little warmer on such a cold day but it warmed up as it filled up. Definitely worth a visit and I'm sure we'll be back."

This is a very good Italian restaurant which never fails to impress. I loved both the octopus starter and my black spaghetti with lobster main course. Service as always efficient, friendly and discrete plus a tempting wine menu.

Ive been to il convivio a few times for dinner. They have a set menu and also a la carte. The menu is varied and the food good whilst the restaurant itself is a nice environment. The house red wine is also very good too and very reasonable in price. View menu

Last visited a couple of years ago and we found the restaurant to be just as enjoyable. Surprised to find a Christmas menu at this old established Italian restaurant but we both selected from this menu and the food was excellent. Charming owners and staff

On a rainy Tuesday in February we were among few diners; had this restaurant been in NYC, a Three week wait would be necessary to get a table. The salad and soup were great starters, the mains calf's liver, branzino were amazing. A clue to great Italian cuisine is the table olive oil, and the Sicilian selection was perfect. After 5 lengthy trips to Italy Sicily, this restaurant is right up there with the best. It's a short walk from Victoria, in a nice neighborhood. And...great wine selection as well.

Nice place generally but the Maitre D ' took my order for Norfolk Lobster Seafood Soup starter and when he saw it being placed in front of me then, with a smile, said ' 'you won 't find any lobster in that it 's a misprint on the menu ' . I thought he must be joking but regrettably not The 'seafood ' turned out to be very bland and rubbery squid rings and I left 75% of it in the bowl as completely uninteresting in food terms. at £9.50 service charge it 's a rip off and to be avoided it 's still on the menu!! **** closed!!!!! Booked to go there last night. Trolled into London, had a quick drink then wandered round to find this place is closed, and looks as though it has been for many weeks!!!! Would it be so hard to put something on the website to that effect like most other places have? Instead they still show a menu, wine list and take bookings and send email confirmation of the booking. Given their lack of attention and consideration I wouldn’t ever eat there! Thanks for wasting our time you thoughtless muppets.

It’s always difficult to decide where to eat pre theatre. I don’t just want to ‘make do’ with so so food or being rushed. Well Il Convivio provided the perfect answer .... The restaurant is smart , but not stuffy the staff were very welcoming and understood our need to be finished within an hour and ten minutes. The food was first class my zuppata starter was one of the most flavoursome I have ever tasted. Our Vermentino was on point and we both managed three courses and coffee without feeling rushed at all . Perfect.
