"Had a bit of trouble finding this on TA, I think it should be spelled il Merlo Parlante, and it said it was reported as closed but is definitely still in business. Great ale selection, cosy and interesting and just a teeny bit off the beaten path so we walked right past it at first. The menu is a bit confusing but just let the bar staff know what you’re after and they’ll sort it out. A 33cl la chouffe is €4, we’re going to pop in again for a cheeky chocolate stout tomorrow."

nice local, adequate prices, good beers but very disappointing the sandwiches: poorly studied combinations, low-quality ingredients (predominantly commercial sausages). the one with raw ham, heated, was so salty to be almost unmangiable. a little extra care does not spoil.
