We booked together with friends after a day of canoe What to say about the food....trota excellent from 5 stars but the scampi from 1 star totally flavor also the first taste only oil A tip to the cook try the dishes before serving them because you can improve with a little salt and smells

a pleasant return, confirmation of the high expectations! friendly and precise staff, dishes treated in detail, especially in the taste. shrimps cooked very well and very high quality. cost suitable for service and quality of products and unique location on the riverside. recommended to make a beautiful figure!

We had dinner in this restaurant with friends from the north to get him to taste the Abruzzo river cuisine. appetizer shrimps and trout fillets nothing exceptional, first cut them to the ricotta of shrimps very good but portion from tasting really poor. for second row of trout to citrus fruits this was very goose but a portion from stamp (less than a quarter of trout practically a microboccone about cm). for sweet a small and thin ferratella filled with no possibility of bis. we got up with hunger and we certainly did not make a good figure with friends sometimes you really get lost in a glass of water.

We learned of this little diamond through tripadvisor. A friend of ours led us here because on the weekends, we head out to discover new and delicious spots. This was a very pleasant surprise. Set in the heart of Abruzzo, a five minute drive from the town of Bussi Sul Tirino, they’re specialities are river trout and shrimp. What made this little restaurant stand out is that 3 generations of women are represented in the kitchen. We arrived before other guests and we had the chance to chat with, who I think was the owner. Our food was fresh, delicious and did not break the bank, which was a welcomed surprise considering what we ate. My favourite dish was the asparagus and trout pasta.

We were looking for a place to eat river shrimp and we found a really good one (research of reading juice). You can choose from different shrimp dishes and we have tasted almost all: appetizers are really great, I recommend trying all. Pasta with saffron and shrimp ricotta is also very good. The second shrimp in purgatory is super tasty. In the menu there is also trout but we went only for shrimps In short, recommended place for those in the area or for those who want to taste the shrimp of the river. We were a little uncertain about turning onto the small road off the highway that leads to Il Salice, since it looks like it leads into the woods, but we were so glad we did. The setting is charming like a country Inn. We arrived at an odd hour about 3:00 looking for lunch. Since our Italian is practically non existent, we had a bit of trouble at first ascertaining if they were still serving. We did glean that she did not have a full menu offering at that hour, but we were hungry and expressed that a limited offering was no problem.
