"I want to start by saying I am not the type of person to complain unless I have genuinely experienced bad service. I recognise with the best of intentions that things can go wrong. That said, the experience I had this evening was so dire and the gesture I was given was, in my opinion, was so inadequate, I feel a strong complaint is warranted. I booked a table for this evening for my birthday, and brought with me 9 close members of my family. We ordered drinks and when a waitress brought them to the table, she split a pint of lager over my back and on my 8 year old child. My new grey coat was covered and I'll have to pay for dry cleaning as it is not machine washable. My brand new black jacket (a gift for my birthday) was also covered, as was the back of my jeans. This was embarrassing as I didn't want to get out of my seat to speak with family members or to go to the toilet. The waitress was embarrassed and I don't think for a minute it was intentional, but I would have thought/expected a manager to come over to apologise. To top it all off we waited over 40 mins for our main courses. With 2 young children who were getting tired, this was far from ideal and we had to chase the meals up multiple times. It is a Wednesday evening and not even that busy so why it took so long, I have no idea. My guests were getting fed up so this didn't exactly make my feel great on my birthday. The food was actually nice, but service terrible. I asked the waiter if anything could be done taking into account how bad things had been and he said he would speak to the manager. I'm assuming the same manager who couldn't be bothered to apologise for the earlier incident. I was given 10% off the bill. We had spent over £200 so this worked out at only £26. Really poor and slightly insulting as this prob won't even cover my dry cleaning bill. I'm not one to write on review sites but in this case I think I will as I dont think Valentinos cares about customers."

Great place place to eat anytime.the staff are friendly and efficient. Not a long waiting time. We had a table for 3, my son is Autistic and cant handle too much noise. The staff were great in giving us a table to the side without us having to ask. I found that very respectfull. The food I'd absolutely delicious and I would highly recommend to anyone to try.

A COUPLES VISIT BUT THE PARTIES GAVE A GREAT FAMILY ATMOSPHERE. Food, Service excellent too. We went for the Valentines treat night, on until 13/02. Antipasti sharing platter, choice of pasta dish each mini dessert sharing selection a bottle of house wine £55! Will be trying the monthly tribute nights too. Call me old fashioned…. or just old!….. but much prefer local than town in winter.

last time we had a pizza collection that was amazing, so we came back for table service and a din-in meal. the personal was really pushed, the one serving all the tables that meant service was slow. eating was okay this time, not as we remember. the ambiente in the restaurant feels a bit like a kantine and it is not as clean as it seems. all in all, it was a good experience, not really the price they charge when eating was nothing big only moderate. the workers on the other side are super friendly and really nice, so that is a real plus. We used to come here an awful lot,at least once a week, but its fair to say we won 't be coming back for at least a Decade. Service and drinks no problem, but £80 (2 adult 2 kids) for what we ate is not accaptable, calzone was so thick it was like eating a full loaf, spinaci pasta dish was full of raw onion.our kids had a burger(kids menu) and chicken burger(adult menu) both of the buns were soggy and falling apart and the meats were just too thick for a burger . Sorry to say but, its been best part of a year since we were last here and won 't be going back. That 's it valencrapos....goodbye

What a gem this place is! We ate here on a Saturday evening and couldn't fault a thing Antonino and his team of excellent staff couldn't have treated us better. Service was spot on and the food was sublime. I had the caprese salad which was excellent and the pasta with pepperoni and bacon which was absolutely lush and just the right amount so it was a daunting mountain of pasta. We both had the raspberry pavlova for dessert, ignore the review that complains about it being frozen in the middle, that's how it's supposed to be and it was to die for! We're only sorry we don't live locally and were only visiting the area, although our waistlines would suffer no end. If you're in the area and get...

"Exploring the outskirts of Leeds led me to discover the gem that is Corarima, a gluten free, vegan haven in Wakefield. As someone currently navigating a gluten free journey, stumbling upon this Abyssinian vegan/gluten free restaurant was a true delight. Opting for the combination platter for two was a journey through a sensory layer cake a symphony of tastes and smells expertly presented. We embraced the experience, relishing the deliciousness with our hands, a practice met with the owner's delighted approval. The host, a charming and attentive soul, took us on a culinary tour, passionately detailing each dish. He was so warm, Friendly and attentive without being over bearing. The decor added to the warmth, creating a homely ambiance that made this dining experience extraordinary. In the realm of UK dining, Corarima has secured its spot among our favorites. It's more than a restaurant; it's a rare and complete experience, a testament to the charm and authenticity of Abyssinian cuisine. I wish we lived closer as we’d visit regularly for sure! Dietary restrictions: I’ve recently had to go gluten free whilst also being vegan so it was wonderful to relax knowing that the menu was accommodating of my dietary requirements Kid friendliness: Whilst we were dining a family arrived with a young baby and the host was so charming and attentive with the baby. Engaging with the baby as if it was any other diner (even offering to take his order)!"
