"One evening, we booked in this restaurant with garden in the back of a pretty hotel. the smiling, user-friendly and efficient reception of servers seduces us. the calm of the place, the atmosphere and the lighting make us want to spend a good time. we start with tomato in all its states and smoked parmesan cream, very good. we continue with the smoked haddock and its cream of lettuce, excellent as well. in flat, we discover the press of gambas and black place in bread crust, original and interesting. the palm comes back to the farmer chicken contrated to verbena and its corn decline, excellent. for desserts, the cabbage with black sesame and pear conference is well balanced, the chocolate and its roasted nectarine with a crispy tile is greedy. a friend will even have a fresh cheese with his parmesan shavings, fresh and delicious. really a good time, to do it again, thanks to the team."

Home cooking but it's better to eat there during the week because on Saturdays the choice is very limited, too bad no all-inclusive options.

Excellent food but very poor service (4 very inefficient waitresses for less than 10 tables), a pity because this lessens our perception of the restaurant’s quality. It is unfair to the chef

Took the Symphonique Tasting menu. Stunning flavours, good portion size and incredible value for money in lovely surroundings. The slightly cheaper set menu would have been more than ample. Highly recommended. Close to to the old port but more relaxed in the middle of the Rugby World Cup.

flavours, flavours and flavours. Everything is said. for lunch in the garden, with friends, a happiness. the pea mousseline that accompanies the daurade is tasty, the pea fondue with Thai sauce is a pleasure but the first place comes to dessert. Thousand-fashioned apples that made us look for a good time if it was a piece of ginger or something unsuccessful. Actually, it's rosemary with apples that work very well. a good time of flavors. Thank you to the chief. I did it again.

We were a group of five at a Saturday lunch before a big sports event. The restaurant is perfectly located in the heart of old Marseille (near the Vieux Port) but you are completely hidden from the noise and how busy the area is. The food was really great. It was a set menu (Plat du jour) of three choices meat, fish or vegetarian. Good quality food, well prepared and with great presentation and correctly priced. The service was excellent attentive, quick and friendly. I would highly recommend Le Jardin Montgrand.
