"Wir waren mit dem Essen leider nicht zufrieden. Der Versuche etwas zu besonderes zu gestalten, in dem man bspw. Wasabi Preiselbeeren zu den Maultaschen anbietet, dass dann aber Preiselbeeren aus dem Glas mit einem gr¼nen Punkt Wasabi auf der Tube neben dran waren, weckt in unseren Augen falsche Vorstellungen. Gr¶ter Minuspunkt war aus unserer Sicht, dass alles Gem¼se (bis auf den Salat und die Rohkost nicht frisch, sondern TK war (der Blumenkohl, die M¶hren usw. und die Pilze kamen aus dem Glas. Der Kellner hat die Kritik sehr gut angenommen und war generell nett und freundlich. Der Nachbartisch hatte Flammkuchen, der gut aussah! F¼r einen Drink lohnt sich ein Ausflug definitiv, f¼r das Essen w¼rden wir nicht wieder kommen."

"We went there without a reservation and just got the last table. We ordered a local wine (OK), Wiener schnitzel (excellent) and pork medallions (excellent). We both also ordered potato salad and fried onions (again both excellent). The presentation was outstanding.The greeting was friendly and we were immediately recognised as British, spoken to in English and given an English menu, although the specials were only in German which our host translated for us.The atmosphere inside is of a traditional Bavarian restaurant (a very busy one!) and remember it only opens at 5pm and is closed on a Monday.We will return for one of the best meals we've had for a while."

"I was there yesterday and I must say I was very excited. Angelo, the waiter has the store in the handle and serves with a lot of passion, courtesy and the view for the details. Because of his recommendation, I chose the Mondayscraper. Beef fillet with beans in bacon coat. It took some time until I got the food, but it was just proof of the fresh preparation and the first-class quality. In the end, I was able to get to know Alex the cook who wanted to go with a very personal touch and a lot of passion for food and his guests that my beef fillet was good. Thanks for a great evening!!"

"best kitchen, secret top, country house with style! in the picturesque village thalkirchdorf is located in the middle of the center the chic village house with fantastic beer garden. more allgäu flair is not going. parking is available around the restaurant. eating has highest quality and also the salads have an excellent dressing. the service is also true. we had a nice evening and look forward to the next visit!"

"Nach einer kleinen Bergwanderung (mit Zuweg ca. 17km) entschieden wir uns für den nahe der Talstation der Imbergbahn gelegenen Berggasthof Auwinkel. Da wir Bauerng'röscht'l bereits im nahe gelegenen Oberstaufen als schmackhafte Mahlzeit kennen gelernt hatten, entschieden wir uns für das hier ebenfalls angebotene Gericht zu 10,50€. Im Preis inbegriffen war ein gemischter Salat, der vorher serviert wurde und dessen Curry-Reis uns als besonders lecker in Erinnerung bleibt. Mein G'röscht'l erschien mir eine Spur zu salzig; meiner Frau hingegen war es recht so.Dazu gab es ein großes Radler (3,20€) und ein dunkles Hefeweizen (3,40€)Das Essen war lecker und die Portionsgröße (wegen des Salates?) ausreichend.Wir werden gerne wiederkommen, zumal auf der Speisekarte noch einige andere interessante Gerichte zu finden sind."
