Loved the fried rice and wanton noodle soup here. Not sure if the food was really good or we were just hungry after our flight from the US.

I tried many Chinese in München and KamYi is the best between all of them. You can find DimSum everyday every time. All DiMSum are great. Crispy duck with pancake has to be ordered a day before..

I am from Los Angeles, CA and the Asian food there is remarkable so I have a good taste for this type of food. It was very good. The soup and dumplings were perfect, just enough texture. We ate twice this week in this restaurant and everything was quite good. We tried a few dim sum dishes, a roast duck, the wonton soup , kung pao shrimp fresh shrimps, not frozen). Every dish was tasty and freshly made. The decor is...a bit gloomy but the service is helpful. Most of the guests were Chinese. I guess it says something. This cannot compare to hong kong or to NY China town but its the best Chinese food we had in Munich. Overall, quite satisfying. View menu

The East Isar area has a lot of eastern culinary options. I stopped by this place to have some chinese to go, and could already see thst this was a good one, because many chinese were eating there. It's traditional, a bit fancy, great service,...and probably the most complete chinese menu I've ever seen. The food was delicious, and the price a bit high, but totally worth it. Will surelly come back to try other dishes. For now, I can recommend the chicken with coconut sause and peanuts

Staying at the Hilton Munich City with its awful pretentious Juliet Rose bar/restaurant I crossed the road to the Kam Li. It doesn't look much outside and even inside it is pretty plane. However it has a large varied menu. Multi lingual including English. I...tried two courses. I was on m own. The first course a traditional spicey Chinese soup with mixed veg was Awesum. Really hot not like warm as in other restaurants. The spices were fantastic. I then tried a curry chicken with veg. It was huge and came with fresh boiled rice . This restaurant is located opposite the Hilton hotel where we stayed. We visited this place twice with very different results. The first night we were met by a pleasant young waitress and shown to our table where we received good service and good food. The...second time was three nights later as it was so conveniently located near our hotel. We were met by a very cranky old woman who tried to seat us next to the front door when there were plenty of tables available to the rear of the restaurant. She obviously decided to give us the treatment for refusing to sit where she wanted us to sit.
