"Weekdays, middays, just before 12 and tolerable few people have found the way to Karl`s Adventure Court. Just the time for me to look over there after a good year. First I walk around the outside area, stay with a heavy heart in front of the bird's people, where parrots and wave pigs have to face the cold North German December wind at -5 degrees far from home... No, the sight is nothing for me – for children there are all kinds of things to experience as my prescribe has already mentioned. I don't see children today, not one. There is a gingerbread house competition tent in which 60 gingerbread houses are now located, as a sign announces. My first thought: hopefully, the dough of the houses here will not be pappy by the moisture and lands instead in various stomachs on the garbage... The whole variety of goods that the buyer’s heart – especially that of the tourists – will be presented inside. The spectrum of goods is enormous: candles in all shapes and colors (unfortunately no beeswax candles, strawberry jam to 3,50 euros per 425 grams glass, children's books, permanent sausages, lambskin, eggs, ham, juices, biscuits, noodles, bunzlauer ceramics, Danish wooden shoes, schnapps wineries, model ships, sour jelly There's a lot to buy here, a lot... a lot too much... After 15 minutes of stimulus flooding I leave the place of hull and fullness without having bought something and turn me to the gastronomic area. In response, although here too with too much tulle bag around, the food is offered; For every taste there is something to choose from various types of cakes, bread rolls, salad with freshly baked waffles to noodles Bolognese or green cabbage with casslers, roast potatoes with carvings or frikadellen – the selection is really great. I decide for salt potatoes and cabbage roulade. Both are paid by weight and costs me €7.26. The potatoes on my plate taste as I expect from potatoes kept warm for hours: they are very firm, can only be crushed with great pressure and hardly absorb sauce. The cabbage of my cabbage is so tough that it does not cut with the blunt knife but only lets torn: stubborn, hard, not my taste. The hack filling: I find the consistency slightly slimy, the taste is too fade to me. More than 2 stars are not in the best will for my lunch! There are many nice things to see and buy at Karl`s, but a half as big offer would be enough, I think. Thus, in the face of the mass offer, the impression of a swamp sale that does not meet some of the things offered. The really good, high-quality things go under all the collection and I feel just hit by the amount of goods. In the end, I didn't buy anything because the view was only polished to the mass and the eye found no rest for the detail. My impression: For every man, every woman, every child of every age and every wallet, every man, every woman, every child of every age, should be awakened respects in the hope of enticing everyone to buy anything. But you can never make it right to all visitors – 1 star I take off, because class falls too much to the mass, including when eating – and yet 1 star I pull off because of the experience of experiencing tropical birds in lukewarm minus degrees in an outdoor crowd... Opening hours: Summer (28.4. – 31. 8 – 8 pm In winter (1.11. – 27.4. tgl. 8 – 19 pm The adventure farm is located in 23626 WARNSDORF and not in Ratekau as shown by golocal! So I'm mega disappointed, you pay a lot of money and that's the food cold. For the money, you would have gotten a lot more into a restaurant. Once and never again

What to do on the Baltic Sea when it rains? How about the Karl's adventure store. It's about the strawberry. Almost everything you can try and really lunch is still going. What more do you want when the weather is bad?

My parents have been regular guests to this day, but as they have dared to challenge the dirty toilets (and that for 50Cent! a house ban was granted to them today! A real poverty certificate! This is how we deal with legitimate criticism? Customer service is zero! View menu

Strawberries in all variations. Whether as pillows, vinegar, honey, mustard, in the form of porcelain, of course liqueurs and what the heart of strawberry fans still desires, here Kundin find a huge selection of everything that has to do with strawberries. A huge adventure park for young and old. It smells of fresh strawberries, freshly prepared jams and cakes. A lunch table is also available. Also sufficient possibilities for play for the little ones. I don't want to say anything about the value of the goods, much comes from the Far East and is in huge quantities in the assortment. Less would sometimes be more. Nevertheless, a popular starting point, not only for families, also tourists are...

The barn through which you enter the farm is stunning: in an airy height coffee cans are lined on dozens of shelves (Guiness-Rekord). To flat earth a huge market where you can buy useful (e.g. homemade candies and jams) as well as non-profits. When producing candies and jams you can watch; the strawberries shall come from their own farm. This is followed by a huge gastronomy operation (self-service: breakfast, lunch, cakes from a special bakery), which you can get to the outdoor area. In addition to a petting zoo, there is a railway to ride along, and you will learn a lot about the countryside and nature on some tables or a small cinema. For families absolutely recommended, restricted for ad...

On holiday we also visited the Karls Strawberry Court in Warnsdorf, at least I was in the court shop and looked around there. Gastronomic offers are available in the main house, many foods, wine, beer, liqueurs, sausages and right from the entrance Ödeldödel with Christmas offers which scare me more. I got a couple of carriers to eat. Remarkable was the liver sausage in the glass, consists of pork, pork pasture, pork liver, pork head meat, pork pigs, onions, unrefined sea salt, spices, herbs and tastes really very good. For 160 g 2,99 €, however, there is no ALDI bargain price, but nevertheless without additives for preservation. In 250 g of wake glass, however, the preservative is sodium ni... View menu

In at least two ways: We have actually managed to drive into the new adventure farm today, and with combined family forces we have got our Tk back from the grounds; So the review of @Higgi I cannot understand! there has been a real change in ALL and there is a feeling of 1million. Possibilities to be consistently inkosequent, that if we had made everything the son had wished, our purse would probably be made of onion leather (in the case of pure vision, the tears come to me. The maislabyrinth was great, but in my opinion it was somewhat too high (4.50 for adults, 3 euros for kids over 90cm, or up to 12years) It is open until 31.10. by the way. Well, you don't mind if you don't want a tractor...

I have to admit that I am undecided with regard to evaluation. On the one hand, the adventure farm offers a lot for children, on the other hand, the entire farm is commercialized. First, it is noticeable that you do not have to pay entry for the visit to the adventure farm. But the pleasure is practically not at the zero rate. At least not when you come with children. For example, costs arise for the benefit of the Trecker Bahn, for the visit of the maiden labyrinth or the treasure hunt. Cost-free, however, are the hatch cushions, the carpet slide and the water playground. Also, it is not explicitly forbidden to eat food and drinks. In fact, however, it is also because you do not have to pay...

"On the 15th of August 2014, I sat down with my three (teenage) kids, to have a last drink (soda for them, a calvados (preferably) for me). We had spend the week before in Sweden, building a raft and floating it down the Klarälven. To recover from our hardship (it wasn't all that bad), we had booked ourselves into the Spa in Bad Schwartau. Which then finally leads me to the story at hand.We had eaten at the local pizzeria and were on our way to Haus Magdalena (wonderful place, different review), when we passed this Peffer und Salz place and decided to have a nightcap (for me then, that is, as said). Now, the boys love playing cards. We basically play only "klaverjas", a sort of simplified version of bridge. We were almost done with a game and so pulled out the cards to finish,. After having ordered the drink from an otherwise helpful waitress, the, presumably, owner, came out. He enquired about the game we were playing and despite my explanation ruled it to be “a game of chance” and asked us to leave. Now, you can call me biased on account of being Dutch and all, but having lived in Germany for a number of years, normally that chip is of my shoulders. I have now looked over the restaurant’s menu (insofar as this offers any insight other than “ausgesuchte Steaks etc“)and augmended by the fact that this place rocketed to be the 3rd best restaurant in Bad Schwartau on the basis of one review alone leads me to the hope the owner’s peculiar (to use a euphemism) behavior is borne from his frustration to find himself being a mediocre cook in even more mediocre restaurant as opposed to his perhaps squashed ambition to be a Michelin star. The alternative, otherwise, is an insult to my many good German colleagues and indeed friends.Either way, if you find yourselves in Bad Schwartau, better to avoid this place. I doubt very much anything these people serve can compensate for the aftertaste of narrow-mindedness."
