"Sehr ein schönes Ambiente. Die Wirtin hat uns trotz eines vollen Restaurants absolut freundlich empfangen. Das Essen war absolut genial. Pferdeentrecote, Rumpsteak, Schnitzel Pommes, alles war frisch und auf den Punkt. Ebenfalls gibt es feines regionales Bier. Es war einfach toll und kann nur weiter empfohlen werden. Danke den Wirtsleuten für den schönen Abend."

"Once again, coming from Florida, visiting my Dad In Gossau, we of course had to go and have dinner at La Pergola. I have been invited to many restaurants in the area, but La Pergola is still my preferred one, especially among Italian restaurants in the entire St Gallen-area. Roberto Cavaliere runs his restaurant beautifully and expertly. It has a comfortable and friendly ambiance, very good staff and the food this time, as all the many previous times, was excellent, delicious and also attractively presented. The wine selection is eclectic, interesting and also very fairly priced. The 5 of us all had different menu items, a starter, a main course plus desert each. And we all were very happy satisfied, including the suggested bottles of white and red wines. For sure I will visit La Pergola each time I am in Gossau. To me it has all the ingredients to make this my very favorite restaurant for a nice evening out; and my Dad and friends feel the same. And lucky them, they have dinner here frequently. I love La Pergola !!!"

"We wanted to eat there on Saturday evening. At 6:50 p.m. we sat down, ordered drinks and 10 minutes later also ordered food. We ended up waiting 1 hour 15 minutes for the waitress to come to us at 8:15 p.m. to say that they didn't have enough cooks and could we wait another 15-20 minutes. This was not possible as our film started at 8:30 p.m. We refused and left indignant. The boldest thing was that one of the two drinks had to be paid for. No more coal fumes."

"Normal sind wir eigentlich immer zufrieden mit dem Brot in dieser Migros, bis auf gestern. Wir haben einen Bio Zopf gekauft in der Annahme dass der frisch und am morgen hergestellt wurde vor Ort in der eigenen Bäckerei. Nur leider hat sich herausgestellt, dass der Zopf alles andere als Frisch war, die Rinde war brüchig ausgetrocknet und sah so aus wie wenn man Brot tiefgefroren hat und dann aufgebacken hat. Generell ist ja dass nicht verwerflich, wenn es klar offen kommuniziert wird, aber wenn dann noch steht frisch handgemacht auf der Packung, finde ich dass schon Nahe an der Kundentäuschung. Die Rinde war so trocken bröckelig, hart, dass der unmöglich frisch gemacht sein konnte. So hätten wir wohl lieber den Zopf selber gemacht als so einen zu kaufen, war definitiv das Geld nicht Wert. Besonders Schade da wir sonst eigentlich zufrieden waren."
