"We joined friends to celebrate Silvester here. There was a menu fixe, starting with sparkling wine with passed appetizers at 6pm. The appetizers were Angus beef tiny patties in barbeque sauce, a shrimp curled inside a potato nest, and goose liver pate on crostini. You can probably guess how the rest of the meal went! We had a delicious clear beef soup with a meat filled ravioli floating in it, a fish dish, sorbet, and beef Wellington. Dessert was mousse du chocolat, with the obligatory Berliners at midnight. With fireworks outside the back of the restaurant visible from the terrace, and more coffee and sekt. After 5 courses and much delicious German wine, we needed the next day to recover, but still enjoyed a great brunch the next morning."

this country house is a very special place: quietly located in the green, quietly furnished, park-like garden for all – and then a kitchen service that convinces all around. we felt very comfortable! View menu

I booked a cosy table for two and wasn´t disappointed Excellent food including succulent US steaks. Service was attentive with only a slight reservation about the wine mark up. However the restaurant is very relaxing menu is also available in English with a comprehensive wine list including bin ends called (Restposten)

We stopped for dinner. Charming building brings you to the past century. Inside you will find romantic interiors with beautiful decorations (glass statuettes). Food was very good creamy pea soup, rag steak, chocolate mussel. Excellent, friendly and friendly stuff. I can recommend this restaurant. The price is at the top, but still acceptable. View menu

We joined friends to celebrate New Year's Eve here. There was a menu Fixe, starting with sparkling wine with passed appetizers at 6 p.m. The appetizers were Angus beef tiny pattys in barbeque sauce, a shrimp lured in a potato nest, and geese liver pate on Crostini. You can probably guess how the rest of the meal went! We had a delicious clear beef soup filled with a meat ravioli in it, a fish dish, sorbet and beef Wellington. Dessert was mousse du chocolat, with the obligatory Berlin at midnight. With fireworks visible outside the back of the restaurant from the terrace, and more coffee and champagne. After 5 courses and delicious German wine we needed the next day to recover, but still enjo...

"Recently I found myself in Celle again on a combined business/pleasure trip. Already having eaten at Schweine Schulze (see review there), this time we headed to Le Feu.Le Feu is situated in an old Fachwerkhaus, but that is not too unexpected as in Celle the old character and hauses have been preserved. That is until the socialist party got a majority in the city council and started to demolish old hauses. I think they were voted out before they could damage more than one street that is now an eyesore in Celle.Anyway, back to Le Feu. As the name already indicates there is a bit of a French influence, which translates itself to a lot of dishes with an Alsacian/Lorraine influence like the Elzasser Flammkuche/Tarte Flambée Alsacienne, or, in regular english: The Alsacian version of the Italian Pizza, but with a variety of toppings. The atmosphere in the restaurant was great. The owners/managers are welcoming and friendly just as the staff is. Service was prompt. Ordered several varieties of Flammkuche in sequenceI prefer the more traditional savory Flammkuche, with onions and bacon. My date had a mexican and a hawaiian. All tasted great. Though I am not really into beer, when in germany do as the germans so topped it off with some great german beer.Had a lovely evening. Bill was a pleasant surprise. Definitely good quality for your euro.Le Feu caters for people with several food allergies."
