"This was an unexpectedly excellent find for lunch. Truly good food. The purple potato gnocchi with local cheese in the sauce were a revaluation. I had always thought of gnocchi being a rather stodgy and uninteresting pasts but these were light colourful and very tasty. The plum in the sauce gave a sweetness to offset the cheese and a really pleasing change in both taste and texture. The venison tortellini (maybe more Mezzelune than Tortellini) were great, with a really meaty venison sauce that was more a stew than a sauce. Altogether a most excellent lunch. There is free parking on the Via del Pozzo the walk down the cobbled street to the second turning on the right (see picture). Entrance is up the stairs, through the restaurant to the covered terrace. I would certainly recommend a day trip from Lake Garda driving along the lake and then up the spectacular Strada della Forra road (note one way, up, from 10:00 to 19:00) followed by lunch at Da Nando."

"After narrowly missing out on lunch in another village location we were 10 mins too late for service) we made our way up the mountainside towards Tremosine in hope! We passed one prospect but the plastic tablecloths and cheesy music put us off and so we continued on up the very narrow and tricky to pass mountain road. Lovely views but a nightmare road where we got jammed in gridlock on the way down. On the way up on the right hand side a large car park opened up next to a rustic looking building and this looked like, if nothing else, a good spot to have a short walk or turn the car around and head back down the road. However, it shortly became apparent that many maybe all) the visitors in this large car park were visiting the Ristorante Brasa. We soon found out why. Rustic chic, low prices, good food and a great atmosphere full of locals, birthday parties etc). We found the service very friendly and attentive. The food was very good rather than absolutely excellent but great value and I think the subject of rather harsh judgement from us due to being spoilt at other locations. By this time I was very hungry and over ordered not unheard of). A large and very good Vitello Tonnato enough for two my partner helped me along a little together with her large salad). Followed by a tasty home made and probably wood oven cooked) lasagne for me and pasta with cheese, mushrooms and prawns for my partner a little heavy but good). The stand out course was the grilled chicken. This was clearly cooked in the wood oven. Crispy, slightly dark and delicious on the outside, herbs permeating the dish, moist and tender on the inside This is highly recommended! All in all a welcome, excellent value and recommended lunch stop. Probably improved if you have a motor bike or a helicopter as getting there is definitely something for the brave or those with an already modified vehicle."

"a class hotel with a class staff and super beautiful and clean rooms. the rooms have a small fridge, a safe and air conditioning. the bathroom is just like the room, relatiw large, new and very clean. the chef, as well as the personal speak well German and are very attentive and helpful. with his own charm, the chef manages his hotel with the associated bistro, which you can also recommend. the location of the hotel in the middle of the center is top. sound protection window let the noise outside and a pleasant sleep. the breakfast is a small culinary dream and surprises every morning on the new one. Parking can be conveniently located in the local car park and is brought back to the hotel with an electric vehicle and on departure to the car park. this service is, just like parking, free. all in all, it was a super holiday in a beautiful holiday region."

"Conosco la struttura solo per il ristorante sul lago. Location molto bella, direttamente sul lago e di dimensioni adeguate per avere la giusta riservatezza. Ambiente curato è molto gradevole. Personale premuroso, attento, cordiale. Servizio veloce. Chef bravissimo e materie prime freschissime. Scoperto casualmente nel we lungo il sentiero per la ciclabile, lo abbiamo scelto il giorno dopo per pranzare nuovamente lì per chiudere al top il nostro we. Complimenti!"
