"I have been doubting for some time if I should write this review or not for the sole reason that I already am having enough trouble to book a table at this restaurant and I don't want more competition. But this restaurant is amazing. It's now the fifth time I have had the pleasure to eat lunch here both with family and friends. The cuisine is innovative and delicious. The waiter will come and present you with a choice of around four starters and some main courses. You then make your choice. Starter and main or main and dessert is 22€, so the value for money is incredible. I've had the pleasure of tasting their small mushroom truffle mouse pizza, salmon tartare, zucchini spaghetti with crab, pork confit and lamb tajine. All meticulously presented. This restaurant "just works". The wine recommendations are good (good Bourgogne at friendly prices), and in general the wine list entails a nice selection. I've booked tables outside since I enjoy the view of rue de la Concorde on sunny days. The waiters are friendly and atmosphere nice. They also make a nice espresso, (paradoxically hard to come by in France).Be sure to book in advance and "bonne dégustation"!"

Very good food, initial menu didn't cater for vegetarians. But chefs were happy to cook a vegetarian starter and a mains. The food was particularly good, cooked to perfection. The service was also of a high standard. Would definitely recommend to friends

Very nice restaurant. The dishes are very tasty, inventive and the portions are not small but enough. The quality of the ingredients is quite good. The environment is quite cozy and the decoration is modern and cool. The staff is very kind.I'll go there again.

Great atmoshere in this busy toulouse center restaurant.( close to Victor Hugo) A young team of chefs and waiters seeve up a delicious seaonal menu. We loved the flavours and use of mixtures of vegetables. Everythng was tasty, wine advse spot on and service very good. Highly recommend.

This is a fabulous new restaurant right in the heart of the chi chi neighbourhood of "Les Chalets". The atmosphere was very "Greenwich Village", laid back and buzzy. Walk on the bustling Blvd Strasbourg, turn right onto rue des concordes and immediately the atmosphere changes. The staff were friendly and the food was superb and great value View menu

The best endives en gratin I ever had (beats my French mother in law's recipe hands down, and despite the connotations that go along with being a mother in law, I have to admit she is a great cook). The dishes are inspired off of traditional French ones and the chef elevates them to an all new level. The ambience is great filled with locals.

Modern decor with tables inside and directly on the street. Open kitchen so you can see your meal being prepared. The menu changes regularly and i highly recommend the ' special' which changes regularly depending on what is in season or fresh in the local markets.Beautiful presentations and very imaginative dishes with ingredients that work harmoniously to make you taste buds sing in joy

Great ambience, amazing food, lunch portions were a bit too small but moderately sufficient. Some ingredients though repetitive were paired differently. Overall given the price we had some delicious food that was presented with lots of attention to details served by attentive and knowledgeable staff . We were not once rushed through out meal.Read the full review on - questandmark.com/2015/04/15/la-pente-douce-toulouse/Until next time and another food review Bon Appetit X Rochelle Zonnenberg Join our Quest and Mark your Map! This restaurant had been recommended by our apartment owner, so we booked with high expectations. At lunch the restaurant was full of locals, and they seemed to be enjoying their food. However, I found it to be more appearance than substance. The 2 inch by 3 inch square of fish was excellent, but the seaweed salad that accompanied it was inedible, The squash soup with fois gras was nice and the fois gras good. My husband's pork was good, but more of a tasting menu size main course. We skipped dessert and went somewhere else.

I had dinner here on Saturday 13 June, a table for three. The chef's surprise as appetizer was traditional Toulouse fare with an unexpected topping, a perfect match between the two wildly different tastes an textures. The main course, lamb cooked in two different ways, with small vegetables, was a festival of flavours melting away. The desserts pinnacled the experience: rhubarb compote, ice tea pancake, and banoffee pie completed the gustative experience which was completed with a red Minervois.I expect Toulouse, no strangers to good cuisine, to invade the place

"It was very very good! For drinks we had a homemade lemonade and a Hibiscus/mint iced tea (it really reminds us of bissap) which were very good. The beef mandu (dumplings) were incredible!!!! We loved it. The fried chicken was very good and plentiful for the price and accompanied by fresh radish pickles. The shredded beef bao was delicious clearly. The tteokbokki were really excellent, delicious and precisely spicy. The crispy salmon was not bad but too salty for my taste to titillate. The hotteok for dessert was very good. I would have liked the black sesame ice cream too but we didn't have any more room...that will be for next time. The presentation of the dishes is careful. The score is 50th for 2 knowing that we ate a lot. The staff are lovely and very helpful. There was a bit of a wait but it didn't bother us. Remember to book if possible because it gets crowded. Especially if you are a group. Afterwards we came without a reservation and were still able to eat. I recommend. For me the best Korean in Toulouse that I have tried for the moment (even if perhaps not pure tradition) with the P'tit Louis in St Cyp but which is only open at lunchtime. For the bibimbap I can't say we haven't tried it yet.
