superb discovery! The welcome is warm, the very kind and attentive boss. We took 3 tapas for 2 what was enough, very tender meat and excellent fish, perfect cooking, delicious marinades and homemade sauces! all served with a house sangria. prices are more than correct for quality, nothing to say if it is only that we strongly recommend this address that clearly worth the detour! Thanks again!

This was my first experience in the restaurants in Vichy and I must say, I was impressed with such a nice little restaurant. The menu isn't complicated and isn't expensive at all. I didn't try any Spanish traditional dishes, the speciality of the restaurant, I got a big and tasty portion of mussels and fries. The service was excellent and fast, eventhough my French is way too basic, the waitress didn't put pressure on me, as I normally get in other towns in France. I reckon if you want to have a relaxed time at supper, this place is definitely a good choise.

I ordered "thon" ("ahi" or tuna) served with "aioli" sauce for luncheon, and I could have not have been more pleased with my selection. La Plancha is a causal restaurant with indoor and outdoor service on the sidewalk, where one can see and be seen--a favorite French pastime. A pichet ("pitcher") of rosé perfectly complimented this light repast. For dessert try the creme brulée, I promise you will not be disappointed. The location is central, with the well known Vichy Opera House being just a half-block away nestled by a variety of shops for those everyday pressing needs. View menu
