"We ate lunch here, they did manage to squish us in last minute which was great. The meals we had were beef with frites and moules and frites. Both were nice, food wasn't exactly warm when it arrived, we saw it arriving and being placed on a table by the restaurant and the food then arrived at our table 5 minutes later which probably explained why it was a bit cooler than it should have been. The steak was cooked nicely as were the frites. The moules were tasty however you were constantly picking bits of blue plastic from the wrapping out of the shells along with the seafood. It didn't affect the flavours however, it was frustrating to have to check every mouthful for plastic prior to eating. The wine (a muscadet) was delicious and reasonably priced at 22 euros a bottle, the mussels were 15 euros and the steak about 17 euros, so reasonable for lunch. This would have received 4 starts had it not been for the god awful entertainment that started half way through the meal. Someone banging a drum and dancing right by the restaurant, it was a din and so loud you couldn't engage in conversation for the full 10 minutes it went on. The restaurant staff then permitted them to come and harass you for money at the tables which after being interrupted for so long was just another frustration when they wouldn't stop begging for money. We came for a nice relaxed lunch not a drum & base dance routine / rehearsal. The staff can't do much about noise nearby, however, they can refuse the performers entry to stop them begging at your table."
