"In search of dinner in the on a Sunday evening can be challenging, so we ended up here. At the time the food; Magret de canard Choucroute mains and Profiterole dessert for one seemed fairly average. Allied to a pretty decent bottle of...Cote du Rhone we were not overly impressed nor totally underwhelmed. However the next day my wife was unwell and I'm afraid the finger of suspicion is pointing at this place. From reading earlier reviews it would seem this is not the first time that people have become unwell after eating here. It is worth stating that service was in the traditional Paris fashion, bordering on rude. Note: The review relates to La Terrasse at Place de l'Ecole Militaire"

There are better places to go with food that will satisfy you better. You've spent a full day, so don't settle for mediocre food.

our experience was excellent. our waiter was attentive as the manager. prices are comparable to other popular tourist destinations.

perfect place to breakfast! beautiful view and to foot from the eiffel tower. only a pity that they no longer serve fresh orange juice.

We became ill after dining here last week. Both my partner and i came to the separate conclusion that we were food poisoned. To add insult to injury, we could hear the waiters loudly discussing their pourbois immediately after our meal. Crass and quite probably...criminal.

I always try to have at least one meal at La Terrasse while in Paris. The sumptuous velvet banquettes, the gentile service and exceptional food are a great accompaniment for the excellent people watching as one of the most interesting neighborhoods in the city of...lights pursues it's pleasures in the shadow of the Ecole Militaire.

We did not have to have a reservation.... The food was quite good however you will pay more than usual at this restaurant. There is outdoor seating but we chose to sit inside because of the weather. My wife ordered the onion soup and it...was wonderful. I would’ve the flaming Jan with gravy and it was delicious. We would eat there again soon.

my family and I liked this restaurant so much, we ate there two days in a row once on the silvester and then again on the lunch New Year's Day. the personal was super nice, friendly and accomodating to my mother in a wheelchair. a cache that the bathroom of the restaurant are not accessible to disabled persons. they are a steep, curvy treble flight. this, however, is not unusual in paris, we discovered. loved eating and desserts of la terrace.

This place is the perfect rendezvous for anybody not so familiar with the streets of Paris and who wants a good decent meal. I was meeting a friend I haven't seen in years and all I knew in Paris was the Eiffel tower perfect....It's so close. Just go down Saffrun Street and turn left on Ecole Militaire it's right next to Carrefour and the Ecole metro station. The cafe has warm waiters and the continental breakfast filled me up. I recommend this place to anybody.

I went to La Terrasse because it was near the hotel where I stayed. Prices are really high: a piece of baguette with ham and cheese is The chicken was quite good and the French fries are fresh. But the waiter cheated us: they...told us that the chicken was finished and convinced us to take meat for two people. The result: they didn't explained us that the steak was really thick so it was rare, it was bad quality meat and the prices was really high! over it was enough for three people not two and later we saw people in the restaurant eating chicken!!
