This restaurant is located on the main streets of Souillac and is a hidden gem in the area.

brilliant restaurant. excellent eating. fantastic. worth a visit. they will not be disappointed. we stayed in a hotel next door and used this restaurant 3 times during our stay. never disappointed.

we stayed in the hotel and dined there an evening, and after this experience we wished that we had eaten there a second time. eating was nicely prepared, the aromen were unique, and they care about vegetarian and omnivores alike. a must-visit spot. View menu

After mostly poor experiences with dining in the Perigord and Quercy region in early October, it was nice to find a restaurant with good food and ambience. The only disappointment was the foie gras very average. Main courses were good and the bottle of...Chateau Neuf du Pape was exceptional. Staff were very friendly and helpful

this restaurant is not great and this is a great plus! friendly welcome and good choice of food and excellent worth! 3 cure menu for 34 €. we had the salmon as an appetizer, more wonderful calf as a main course and cheese and strawberry rtiramisu as a dessert....The wine selection is excellent. this place is an absolute must when in souillac! merci and we will be back before we go home.

Welcome to a charming hotel restaurant. The staff was right and friendly. Restaurant itself was comfortable, but not especially in decoration or cosiness. The food is absolutely good and lovely, but classic. Duo by foie gras de canard, partly in Cahors wine, very beautiful! Lamb, Tournedos Rossini, cheese from the region, a 'honest' kitchen. Wines in every budget. This restaurant fits exactly into the hotel formula and its guests. Good decent food and service for a reasonable price. View menu

Warm reception and good service throughout. Lives with a good atmosphere on Tuesday evening in August. Several set menus and a long a la carte to choose from. The food was well presented and each dish was well received by our group, including the fish of the day (code), fillet steak and slowly boiled lamb. Long wine list with several at a very reasonable price. Overall a “up market” restaurant compared to others in the area, but worth the slightly higher prices. Over €50 per head for 3 courses and wine.

traveling in the next season (early november) we decided to have la Vielle auberge as we are fans of hotels in the Logis chain. friendly welcome to our arrival and we were soon given the keys to our rooms without fuss. a little drama for...I was on the return to my room after a pre-dinner drink in the city, just to find out that the key would not work! it seems that the door lock was broken, but the hotel called a local handyman and I was back in the room without too much delay.
