"what we loved in the white city: a menu at 37 €, even in the evening, entrance-plat-dessert-glass of wine-café, not to mention the mouths and mignardises, from never seen in a starry establishment. this menu is good, copyy, and offers a value for money more than satisfactory. What we didn't like: - getting grunted like children the day before because we didn't confirm the reservation: the other starred establishments we're seeing remind customers directly, which seems more commercial to me; waiting: 2h30 for a meal is much too long for us- the second room, much less prettier than the main room; the service, brouillon, more busy servers to respect the instructions than to be listening to the customers. Thus, a waltz of continuous trays, with a very questionable utility, was witnessed; At no time, it was asked if everything was going well. I don't think we'll come back, as the quality of the menu was not enough for us to have a pleasant evening."

We hadn't come to the white town for six years. the remade rooms are very good taste. Everything was perfect. attentive service without being heavy. welcome. just the champagne missing a little freshness to our taste! We won't wait six years to come back. Bravo. View menu

The kitchen is good but very traditional and not modern. an atmosphere in the dining room and in the kitchen of restaurants as it was 20 years ago. We were expecting a finer and more creative cuisine for this type of restaurant. quite disappointed by the fish and coconut beans too cooked to our taste. The service was very good.

We went, two couples, last evening, knowing that the place was in new hands, M and Mme Guglielmetti having taken up the reins from Jean-Yves Jaguin. This is one of very few restos this far west in Brittany to hold a star, so it is...especially dear to us. Well, by last night's visit, we were impressed by the whole experience as Yvann G. has wisely decided not to make much change in the carte and menus. The service at table, Luc and his accomplices, were inherited from the previous, so, for the moment, all goes well. We shall be back probably at the end of March and we'll see if things follow on. The menu decouverte at €50 has to be recommended, as does the wine list, some impressive wines at...

"Unlike so many other restaurants, Le Tire Bouchon makes a definite statement about its cuisine: no fries, no sauce! Our first visit was on a sunny lunchtime in early September, where a close examination of the various formules on offer excited our curiosity, especially since...to seniors such as we, all the options seemed to offer good value for money. Others must have thought the same because the only table available was in the street. We sat down and were promptly given a menu from which we could choose a la carte or a formule. My wife and I both ordered from the formule menu, and I do remember our choices were well presented and tasted delicious. The service too was very good, so much so that at the end of our meal, we made a reservation to return in a few weeks and try an evening sitting. And we did. Again we were seated promptly, and again we received the same friendly service this time our waiter clearly spoke better English than we spoke French! I ordered from the Formule 22 menu and chose the smoked salmon with dill for my entree (delicious ; for my main I chose the pork belly with a creamy mushroom sauce and boiled, small new potatoes (excellent ; and for dessert I guiltily chose a nougat ice cream topped with raspberry sauce (annoyingly more ish! My wife had a pork terrine for her entree and a main course of mini scallops, rice, caramelised onions and a small lettuce salad. Her verdict? Excellent! The wine list was fairly extensive but (as usual we played safe and went with the house red, a merlot. At Euro 7.50 for 50cl it too was well worth the money! So a little gem in Lannion thoroughly recommended."
