"This used to be a restaurant that served great food. However seems to rest on its laurels-now. At 8 o’clock when we arrived tried to order, no dish of the day, finished! I ordered a fish dish which had no flavour. , chicken dish ordered by my two companions was ordinary. Desert, rather like the starter seemed as if it was bought in not home made. Cheese OK but no extras like sweet bread or grapes served with it and no explanation of what was what. Will now look for an alternative for our frequent visits to Chartres."

The bar is very cosy. The restaurant is beautiful with very cordial waiters. The food was gourmet French cuisine, imaginative and delicious

We have known this restaurant for years and it has been constantly improving. Very good value for money. The staff are very welcoming and you can feel the desire to pass on the knowledge from the owners to the apprentices. We can feel a great atmosphere among the staff. The quality of the food is very, very good (I don't say excellent because excellence doesn't exist). If you are passing through Chartres, don't hesitate to go there for lunch or dinner. You won't regret it.
