"Mitten im Zentrum der kleinen Altstadt gelegen erwartet den Gast ein freundlicher Empfang, die Räder eine perfekte Unterkunft einschließlich Akku-Ladestation für E-Bikes. Die neben der Gams gelegene Schmiede 7 erstaunt durch einfallsreiche Zimmernamen und -gestaltungen. Unsere Präferenz: Raum Harmonie mit winzigem Außensitzplatz zwischen den Dächern der Stadt. Das kleine Bad mit Dusche lässt leider Bademäntel und Badkosmetik vermissen, was aber bei vier Sternen auch nicht unbedingt zu erwarten ist. Slipper kann man auf Nachfrage erhalten. Das angenehme Design des altehrwürdigen Schrankes wird durch sein heftiges Quietschen bei jeder Öffnung oder Schließung geschmälert, für eine Nacht kein Problem, da es genügend Bügel im offenen Schrankteil gibt. Das hoteleigene Restaurant bot schmackhafte Küche, schien aber von seinem Anspruch Gourmet ein wenig entfernt. Das Frühstück war sättigend aber wenig einladend angerichtet, die im Haus Gams gelegenen Frühstücksräumlichkeiten fielen im Ambiente deutlich von den Zimmern in Schmiede 7 ab. Ein gutes Viersternehaus mit zugewandtem, auskunftsfreudigem Personal."

"Angefangen beim stets gut gelaunten Chef, der seine Gäste verwöhnt und von einem ebenfalls sehr motivierten Team unterstützt wird, bis zu kleinen Aufmerksamkeiten, wie etwa warmen Tellern für die Vorspeisen (wir hatten mehrere Vorspeisen für die Tischmitte und vier Teller bestellt) oder dem kommentarlosen Ersetzen aller Bestecke, nach der Vorspeise, der Service macht hier einfach Spaß! Das Essen schmeckt sehr lecker! Es gibt die üblichen griechischen Gerichte. Vielem fügt der Küchenchef kleine Extras hinzu. So wird z.B. der Suflaki durch wenige Tropfen einer schmackhaften Sauce aufgewertet. Ich nutze jeden Aufenthalt in Beilngries zu einem Abstecher ins Meteora und bin bisher nicht enttäuscht worden! Hinter dem Haus gibt es Parkplätze, die für das Restaurant reserviert sind. Die Preise bewegen sich um üblichen Rahmen."

"We arrived without a reservation but got a table for an hour - if we are fast enough. I told them that it depends on their cooking speed but we should be OK so we got the table. Then we waited... at some point we got the menu and ordered. The food arrived quite fast with the drinks but without any friendly service. The food was OK but NOTHING special: Pizza Calzone: basic, nothing special. Lasagne: boring standard, at least sizzling hot. The salad was OK but very little of everything (olives, eggs, artichokes, ... ), fresh with some standard dressing. The risotto was a disappointment, plain taste with long grain rice and not what it should be Arborio or similar. After we finished we again waited for the service as we wanted some dessert. After we complained the waitress got to us and, gratefully, accepted our order for Tiramisu.... which we should have skipped and straight away left the place. The Tiramisu was sponge cake with whipped cream and some coca over it. Really bad!!!We weren't really finished with the Tiramisu when we were removed from our tables as the next were arriving... as I said, we could have easily made it hadn't it been for their speed.Our neighbor's table (some local glider club president) got full speed service and entertainment from two of the staff (or even the owners) so the conclusion for us is:food is mediocre, service is only OK if you are a local celebrity so only go there if you are a local celebrity. We won't come back - although the interior is quite nice."

"This year we visited the restaurant of the romantic hotel. The plant in the various industries and departments is soiled and suitable for the environment. We were welcome to both visits to see the feeling in this place as during the entire stay. The tables are beautiful with a small table cloth, fabric napkins and a little “green”. Salt and pepper are on the table. For simplicity, I set the second visit in focus. Since we only opened after 14:00 on this day, we knew in advance that unfortunately only a small card will be presented for selection. For mineral water 0.75l to 4.80 € and a quarter dry Lambrusco to 5,90 € you can say that the water from the Teisnacher is good and the Lambrusco di Grasparosso tastes excellent. Such a quality is rarely found. So we order from the small map, which still offers a sufficient selection, a pork roast with potato dumplings and small, very tasty salad to € 12.50 pork roast with a lot of sauce and dumplings and a few smoked sausages with herbal and peasant bread to € 8.20. Smoked sausages with herbs. After a reasonable time when the pork roast comes too fast, the dumplings are not fresh, our food comes to the table. What immediately notices is the plentiful amount of sauce that also proves to be excellent. So we are very satisfied with the kitchen performance and taste of the dishes. Then an espresso € to 2,20 and a bath from the Mirabelle to € 2,80, so in the digestive tract all its right way round our lunch meal this day. During the subsequent visit to the house of Metzgerei we still have a small “beaten” and delivered us for the next days. Best quality, highly recommended and if it has to go very fast, also the offer for uncomplicated pleasure standing sees temptation. Then buy the good farm bread in the bakery Sippl, which is called a firecrust. Here there are also the calorie bombs, cakes etc. We look forward to the next visit to this pleasant atmosphere. The last word: the sanitary facilities are fine, clean and smell good."

"The place itself has a strong impression of a bad fast food chain copy. Unfortunately, the burger has tasted worse than in one of these chains. Seriously ok, lining fine, at nem Burger you can not do much wrong, but at nem Burger this price class I expect the meat itself to be fried. You have tasted clearly that the meat was in any way pre-fried, and the burger has smelled of fat."
