"The first time I was in the Laubachsmühle in September. There I was with 50 people on the way back from a weekend. As we were on the way home, we arrived at the Laubachsmühle at noon. Now it was planned to grill with males after my return home, so I only ordered a waffle with ice cream, cream and cherries at 4.50 euros. I was really tired of it. The others have ordered something to eat. They went through the bank and the portions didn't look small. When we were on holiday nearby, I immediately regained this place. The place is located directly on a road. Ideal for motorcyclists, as large curves. That's by the way. From the terrace you have a beautiful view of the meadow and only look green. Just fantastic. There is also a small playground. Whatever is important for us on holiday, dogs are welcome there. We leave our older dogs in the cottage, but the clover 1 year, we still like to take with you. Now to our food. Since we eat three times there, I put everything here, but the first day. We had a different service every day, but always the same table. We were always kindly received and led to the table. For dinner we drank Cute Gem Pils from the barrel to 2.00 Euro 0.25 L. We didn't know the beer yet. Probably a small private brewery. Very nice. It made us even better than the regional Hachenburger. There was another wild card for the normal menu. If you were not satisfied after the start and main meal, you can order an ice cream from the ice cream card. To the appetizer we took the shrimps in garlic at 7.50 euros. It was a decent portion and cooked with lots of garlic in oil and broth. There were 2 pieces of baguette. The shrimps were perfectly cooked and the broth so delicious that we could not be absorbed with the bread spooned out. My male as a Schnitzer chose €12.50 in the main food for the Schnitzel Försterin. It was pretty big and the meat was very good. The mushrooms were fresh and lettuce could be added to the salad bar itself. There were 2 dresses on the salad bar. Yoghurt or Balsamicodressing. Male chose Balsamico. He was very good. I chose the main fodder Forelle Müllerin with potatoes and salad, at 12.50 euros. The trout didn't look delicious. The skin was so fried that I ate it. I don't always do that. After the trout with the potatoes I was so tired that I didn't get a salad in the salad bar. As it tasted so good, we reserved ourselves the next day. This time, too, we took the shrimps for starters because they were just so delicious. Girls took the trout killer this time because he found that she looked very good. He confirmed she was very good. This time I took the turkey breast Indians, with baked bananas and rice, to 14.50 euros. Was also very tasty and very powerful. The turkey breast was nice big and it was a lot of curry sauce with mixed fruits over it. It was like fruit from the can, which was not bad. The banana was a baby banana. This time we finally took an espresso to 1.80 euros. There were not the usual cookies for espresso, but a sticky cream. we had not yet. The cup was just so filled that the cream that was unsweetened was still upstairs. It was delicious. But men drank cookies in the cream. For the third night in this place. I took these ingenious shrimp back to the appetizers. This time my male chose goats and feta cheese in the bacon, at 6.50 euros. He was very nicely dressed with red onion rings, apple columns, fruity Chutney, div. Salad and baguette. It was delicious as men said. Since I actually wanted to eat an ice cream this time, I just decided to take an oven potato with shrimps with salad. The price should have told me it's not as little as I thought. She cost 13.50 euros. There was a fairly large potato with a lot of sour cream, standing shrimps around and a mountain of salads. I had something to do. The salads were made with yogurt dressing. The whole dish was really delicious, but the ice cream was nix. There were apple columns, 1 captachel berry, cherry tomatoes, tomatoes, turbulent carrots, red bete pens, white wort, iceberg salad, onion rings, salad gurke, corn....sooo delicious. After all, we drank an espresso again. Conclusion: Good operation, good food and plentiful portions at civilian prices. If we're back in the corner, we'll be happy to return there. I take the pictures of food on the 3 days, including the waffle and the bowl of cherries, as well as the mill wheel."

"here we were at a birthday dinner with 7 people. the reception was very friendly and we were guided to a beautiful table. the first round water was served friendly and formfully. as a greeting from the kitchen came fresh brot in two variants, with a thunfischdip, a lauchdip and whipped butter. everything very tasty and it was good for us to eat the upcoming food. Now to eat: serving the dishes for seven people at the same time presented the two-person service noticeably before a challenge. steaks and co. were served first. gradually the supplements and only to the conclusion when most of their steak had already eaten for half, the cervical butter and the chimichurri. that could have been put on the table without problems. the crimped butter was obviously made and very tasty. the chimichurri was inedible, as the included aromatic criminal were spiced to death and everything only tasted after gras. now the main thing, the steaks: meat quality: top class. preparation (I had ordered for my Scottish Angus-Filet Medium-rare) mastery. the chosen points were all exactly met. I also expect that from a steakhouse. also the maispoularde that some had found great praise. the supplements (pressed carrots, sweets, etc.). were also all delicious and complemented excellently the excellent meat. the soaped sauces also tasted all. in the sauce choron, I must say that it was not particularly good. for my taste it was a (finished) hollandaise, which was supplemented with tomatenmark. I lacked the ruggedness of a classic sauce choron. but again: the meat was extremely delicious and professionally prepared. I would like to make a clear recommendation. for this alone it is worth visiting the steakhaus altwied. to the desserts: here is a good idea. the awards of the dessert card are in no proportion to what is obtained. we ordered the sorbet triology (zitrone, mango, blueberry) and the crêpe with caramelized fruits of the season. the sorbet consisted of three relatiw sweetly dressed balls lemon sorbet, heather sorbet (which was probably a black johannisbeer sorbet) and a ball mangoeis (no sorbet). the whole for almost 9€, after a brighter opinion on the table a real unharmedness. the served crêpe was a pancake and as fruits of the season we were presented to bananas. on 10.9. it would certainly not have been difficult to reach caramelized crêpe or apples. the vanilleeis served was okay. a word is still to say to the very friendly and professional service. the lady and the heart served and very attentive and unobtrusive and informed us that we were the most important guests of the evening. despite partial criticism, we felt very comfortable and like to come back again."
