We get out of Saint Nicolas having very well eaten and spent a very nice time. The table facing the kitchen allows exchanges with the team and with Chef Marvin Lance who conquered us by his generosity. The Saint Nicolas is very good, what better to ask?!?"

"We enjoyed a lovely meal at this wonderful french resturant just up the hill from Megeve resort. Pre booked. This small family owned place was warm, comfortable and traditionally decorated. Madame greets you with a warm smile and helps English with limited french make their way through the menu. The service unhurried and friendly. The food so good. We enjoyed pate for starters with veal, pork and lamb mains all beautifully cooked and so good. Wines are delicious and locally sourced. the deserts choc mouse and fondants served with naughty creame and ice creames laced with local spirits. A lovely way to spend the evening. Lovely location, food and the very best in authentic french hospitality. thankyou guys. tres, tres bon."

"We were so lucky to have lunch there on their last day of the season. The service was rather slow as it was packed with visitors, but we did not mind it at all as the view of nearly 300 degree of mountains including Mont Blanc from their terrance was beyond words, especially with a long spell of nice afternoon spring sunshine, what can you complain!We had lamb, fish and wok dishes - all presented beautifully and including my son, everyone finished it all without leaving anything. I had the wok dish which was a light touch curry dish with coconut milk. I did not get bored at all until the last bit like I normally feel with any curry dishes.We are not keen on sweets, but since the dishes were so lovely, we decided to go for one tiramisu and ended up with ordering another one. The best tiramisu we ever had - not so sweet, chocolate/amaratti/cream - either of them not too strong and a fine combination of all, It was beautiful.We will definately come back in the next season!"
