"Tout petit restau super sympa. Accueil adorable, bon vin à petit prix. Moi j'aime bien le Picpoul de Pinet, petit blanc bien frais qui vient du côté de Narbonne et à 15€ la bouteille pourquoi s'en priver. La carte est petite, bon signe, et que des poissons et fruits de mer à petit prix. Ce qui rare à Toulouse. En entrée une parillada de couteaux et pour suivre un joli petit Bar grillé. Un régal.Ça fait plusieurs fois que je viens et jamais déçu. La dernière fois je me suis lâché sur une Barque, un plateau de fruits de mer faramineux. "my own and two former employees met here for lunch. the restaurant is nice and tidy and neither too bright nor too dark. service was from a friendly waitress who was fluent in many languages. there was a good selection of Indian foods as hot or mild as they would like, and also vegetarian options and also caught beer that many restaurants do not have, but served flake. in portions, where good value for money and we had no long waiting time. the toilet was smartly clean like the whole restaurant. the ambiente was pleasant and that was a very pleasant eating with two good friends. the restaurant is easily accessible by public transport, especially from the subway station jean jaures and various buses to the bus station jeanne d’arc. I would highly recommend the visitors to the New Delhi Palace."

"The name Curry Cafe makes me smile. You would never associate a curry in a French cafe would you? So I went to try it out and went in the hope that I would get a table. The place was nearly empty when I arrived...on a Sunday evening. By the way, many restaurants do not open on a Sunday night in Toulouse so be aware of this when looking for somewhere to eat. Although it was nearly empty when I arrived, it didn’t take long for the diners to begin to roll in and by the time I was leaving, it was nearly full. The restaurant itself is very bright, which fits in with the staff’s bright and friendly disposition. They are all full of hellos, how are you, is everything ok, do you need anything else etc, all delivered with bright beaming faces, behind the masks of course! The menu is extensive. I had a chicken jalfrezi. It was delicious. Do not over order food as there is so much! I could only finish half of my dish despite it only being the curry and rice. It is very filling and so full of flavour. The naan was delicious too. They offered me a free pre-dinner drink but as I don’t drink alcohol, I declined. Including a soft drink, mine came to about €23. Very good value for very good food and impeccable service. Thank you to your team for making a solo female traveller feel very welcome in your lovely restaurant."

The menu offers all kinds of Indian cuisine. It's a little difficult to pronounce. A cocktail (with or without alcohol) is offered to us. It's a good start. "Attracted by the good reviews, we wanted to try Boca. I must say that the choice is large, and the staff is very kind. That being said, I must confess all these mini sandwiches (tapas-style) are just a normal crunchy bread with a very poor.. heart meaning that for example if you take a variant with avocado and fish, you will get a tiny bit of them, really a tiny bit. So, you are really disappointed when you eat, since you really feel you are eating 80% bread and then something in addition. Too bad. Lastly, this famous quality price ratio is not there, since, if taken singularly, the mini sandwiches cost way too much for the ingredients you have inside (And considering the very low price of bread). If you make the calculation with a normal sandwiche you can buy in a good sandwicherie, you discover that Boca in the end is not cheap. It is not expensive either, but they cannot claim they have a good quality price ratio. So, I believe they should really put more substance in their products, it would for sure make more clients happy. Again, staff friendly, a large choice, and nice atmosphere overall, but this does not suffice unfortunately."

C'est rare d'avoir une pâte d'une telle qualité j'aimerai le souligner ,la base tomate n'est pas du tout acide comme dans la plupart des pizzerias , il y a du goût! Chaque ingrédient vient relever l'autre. Les proportions sont gourmandes. Une grande partie ou peut être la totalité, je ne sais pas je n'ai pas regardé l’entièreté de la carte est BIO. C'est très rare. Il y a des options végétariennes et vegans étant moi même vegan . Même les desserts. Bref, si vous passez par Toulouse et que vous recherchez la qualité, le goût et le prix que je ne trouve vraiment pas excessif pour du BIO! cette pizzeria est vraiment une bonne adresse ;"

"We were told again and again, and it's not that we didn't believe, we just didn't see any reason to adjust our itinerary - but as we discovered with our own eyes; one simply cannot ignore Toulouse when having time to visit southern France. The food is spectacular, the architecture defies adjectives of glorious, beautiful and edifying, the people are young and vibrant and the city is a joy to behold, truly a hidden jewel in France's well-worn crown of must do's.Apparently Toulouse has been a seat of learning and higher education for over 2 centuries; in fact the Romans felt compelled by the bucolic environment to set up seats of learning themselves in this city kissed by the sun and traversed by the pleasant Midi-Pyrennes. Today the area has been merged into a larger provincial area known as Midi-Pyrenees-Languedoc-Roussillon, but Toulouse remains its undisputed capital.The area encompasses such historic (particularly in the world of gastronomy) locales as Guyenne, Gascony, and the county of Foix (as in fois gras!!). The area is also famous for the blue cheese made from ewe's milk - the creamy Roquefort - oh la la!Les Sales Grosses sits on one of the main squares (there are many) that dot central Toulouse. Because it remains today a strong University town there are students literally from all over the world and taking turns emulating French fashion the municipal squares of Toulouse can be quite a runway show all their own. Because it was a beautiful breezy day and the animated youth were running everywhere and nowhere in a busied hurriedness as they addressed cell phones, tablets or just bounced along to the jams on their headsets we wanted to see the beautiful people fly by. And of course we wanted beautiful food to match - voila - Les Sales Gosses.Seated by one waiter while a busy bus boy pours the crisp alpine waters we were truly in my companion's element - the outdoor restaurant/bistro scene in southern France had no surrendered on that right of all men (and women) - smoking! I'm not a smoker but it doesn't bother me and I've always felt it rather sexy on some to watch them light their cigarette or cigar of choice with such flair and twist and turn of a match - it seems rather invigorating and not at all dangerous. Being in France the first smug hit of cigarette smoke is followed by a quick sip of local wine or pastis and then the chattering begins in earnest! Oh how I wish I knew someone familiar or spoke the language well enough to engage in one of the half dozen interesting conversations - I too can rake people over the coals! But before the sin of slander took me by storm I began to tuck into the many little aperitifs and goodies the waiter brought by in abundance; tins of nuts (oh joyous cashew, how you are raised to magnificence with a smattering of paprika!), chips/crisps and ripe rotund olives of different shades of green and black. I opted for my usual when in the south of France; a crisp Bandol (rose wine) that just hits the spot!My companion wanted what would be his seventh helping I'm sure (who is keeping count) of the local favorite, cassoulet (a rustic peasants dish of beans, duck, chicken, sausages and such) while I chose the ever present pre-fixe menu; fois gras (if T had eaten 7 cassoulets I had demolished a baker's dozen of fois gras), fresh asparagus in a lavender infused butter, and 3 lovely lamb chops. Dessert was our now usual; café au lait with a side car of armangnac and then off for more adventures. Delicious, delightful and worth it food (it can be pricey) and excellent staff.BTW for those possibly traveling in a large party; the interior of the restaurant appears to be a lush and on point restoration of the belle epoque years of France's heyday in the 1800s - would make a magnificent spot for a wedding brunch or such."

"at the end of our business meal where the seven guests came out from the restaurant, our opinions were unanimous. an excellent surprise and a chance to find this restaurant open Monday evening in the summer!!!Despite our delay, the welcome was nice and natural, really smiling. at the time of the aperitif, hot and really delicious pretzels were gracefully offered to us. Probably the advantage of having booked a few days earlier. We first shared 2 excellent tarts torn before attacking us on excellent winds that are too copyy and that made the happiness of 2 of us who finally left each with a "doggy bag"! Finally, an authentic salad of homemade fruit (with the juice of a pressed orange and real vanilla) allowed us to finish this meal in beauty with a glass of plum alcohol for the most gourmet. In the end, only good. a restaurant where there is a soul in the reception and in the plate and where I will soon return with family or friends."
