We had lunch here while waiting for a train. It was a good choice. We arrived shortly after they opened at 12, and were very quickly served. It seemed that many people had booked for 12:30pm for lunch, and when we left the restaurant was almost full. So if you don't have a reservation, it might be a good idea to arrive early. The food was great not a huge selection, we had the pork special. The service was fast and friendly, and the coffee was also good.

dinner of October a restaurant in the pleasant and clear room, with a friendly service and a menu-map to an excellent value for money. For my part, I chose: a salmon and gamba tartare with finely spicy accompaniment and spinach shoots for a little freshness a perfectly melting pig chessel, purée de patate douce and charcoal poached figs with panna cotta and some pieces of sandy. Everything is well thought out and simply cooked. and since the wines with glass are very affordable (around that the bread is fresh, that the coffee is good, this is a place that makes honor to the French restoration.

Arrived in Hendaye mid day expecting a nice afternoon at the beach. It was mid August but unfortunately the weather was more like a November day in Ireland !! We spent some time searching online for a restaurant for the evening, and luckily, thanks partly to the Tripadvisor reviews we found the wittily named L 'Apostrophe.
