"Fawlty Towers? The manager/owner worked very hard to emulate Basil Fawlty in an hilarious experience last Saturday evening. Starting with the basic premise that EVERYTHING was too much trouble… He decided… There wasn’t any room in the cafe but we couldn’t move to the restaurant because it wasn’t open! There were too many of us to fit around the only free table. When eventually we sat down he wasn’t happy that we ordered cappuccinos at 1700… obviously! Asking for cheese and olives also drew huffs and puffs from him and when it arrived he told us (again) that the table was too small for all of us. For some reason he would only give us one type of cheese… no idea what was going on there! Anyway, we didn’t walk out as it was so TERRIBLE it was funny! I decided to give 2 stars just for the pure entertainment value…!!"

Serata di degustazione vini. Portate ottime e in linea con i vini proposti. Peccato, solo, per un po di troppo rumore. Coinvolgente la spiegazione dei vini Bravi View menu

Went to this restaurant twice during our trip and both times had an amazing experience. The wait staff was attentive and full of energy. They had different menu items based on what they caught that day. All kinds of flavors and a wonderful pairing of wine for any item they had. The absolute BEST restaurant I visited during my 10 days across all of Tuscany. View menu

One of the very very few restaurant where every position on the menu seemed interesting and worth the try very creative, high quality combinations and variations of traditional food from the Versilia. We were absolutely thrilled, though we have been to dozens of decent restaurants in the region before, for more than 20 years. Our only regret was not to have come earlier we knew the place but never made it, before. Congratulations to the whole team this is simply one of the best restaurants in the whole Versilia Lucca region. Phantastic wine menu, too… thick as a bible. We will back!!!

"The food and the hospitality at this little spot are both spot on. You would be a fool to not visit here at least once during your time in the Tuscan seaside town of Viareggio. Unless you plan to make their dinner service right as they open, be sure to make a reservation in advance as the tiny spot fills up very quickly. From the moment we arrived for our dinner reservation the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and as if we were right at home. As soon as we were settled in, our waiter brought us a small welcome dish from the chef that he described to us a typical Tuscan soup. I don 't know what it was called but it was delicious! For our food, we ordered their tordelli with meat ragu sauce after our waiter informed us it 's a typical type of ravioli in that region. You 'll quickly learn as you travel through Italy that each region and often many towns and cities have their own unique ways of creating their pasta dishes that you can only find in that region. The recommendation was a good one because the dish was delicious! For our main, we ordered the Pork Steak Senese which consisted of pre-cut grilled pork with parmesan and balsmamic and grilled trevisano (a type of leafy green). It didn 't look the most appetizing when it was placed in front of us but looks can be deceiving because it was another delicious dish. To wrap up what was already an enjoyable meal, when our waiter brought our bill he also placed a small tray of almond biscuit cookies topped with powdered sugar, a dessert typical of the Tuscan region, as another compliments of the kitchen. Between the tasty food and the small gestures of hospitality, we will definitely be back to dine here if we ever found ourselves in Viareggio again."
