"This looks the ideal restaurant, set in a classical building next to a beautiful park. But it only looks this way. First, when I booked the restaurant, I asked if they could accommodate vegetarians and got the slightly offended reply that obviously they would. When we arrive and requested this type of accommodation, all the waiter could do was to read to us the vegetarian items on the menu (none!) and those where items could be removed to become vegetarian (half-)dishes...Second, the regular dishes are just awfully plain: a half-melon with some slices of proscuito, a gaspacho soup with a full mozeralla ball floating in the middle, a tartar beefsteak with no decoration, and the winner of the evening, a half-open can of sardines that look like a poor joke [see picture]. All the dishes we ordered could have been produced by a first year student in a cook college. Actually, given that the staff we saw looked very young, it may have been the case that the "chef" was a first year student. Even the wine was mediocre, a 2015 Coteaux du Layon with hardly any flavour.Third, those very basic dishes are tremendously overpriced. The can of sardines was 18 euros (compared with the 8 euros it sells in a fancy grocery), which makes opening it one of the most well-paid jobs on the planet! The final bill was higher than those of well-recognised and worth-visiting bourgeois cuisine restaurants in downtown Paris. As eg Le Petit Marguery near Place d'Italie. There is no good reason to visit this restaurant: when sitting outside, the nearby road is noisy, there are enough tables to make the proximity a nuisance, and the prices are close to highway robbery."

Beautiful French cuisine through the castle, ambience, food quality, presentation and service are all excellent. The only problem is that there are not many possibilities on the menu, not to mention vegetarian dishes. The price is very reasonable. The staff cannot speak... English.

Visited this lovely restaurant after a day trip to park in Sceaux. Pretty spot on the grounds of the chateau. We were looking for a cafe type lunch but came upon this in the courtyard. Not a quick lunch but that was our fault. Obviously well visited by local business people expecting a leaisurly lunch. Not busy but steady. Service was attentive but slow. Food beautify presented. Unique table decor with gold fishes in vases. 100€ for two. Entrees only. Food was delicious but obviously expensive. Would definitely visit again for a special occasion. BTW. The cafe is on the other side of the Chateau. C'est la vie.

Le Trevise is a gastronomic restaurant located practically inside the Park of Sceaux. The house is very beautiful, as well as the restaurant itself. The menu is seasonal and it is possible to choose by menu or one of two tasting menus. We opted to start with Les carpaccio de vegetables (crispy vegetables with avocado puree and lime, asparagus sorbet and Etivaz cheese) and Le Haddock (smoked haddock from Maison JC David in warm charlotte potatoes and Avruga caviar). For main course, Le turbot (turbot with potatoes scales, asparagus with meat sauce and truffles). In the end, coffee with small desserts and a set of sweets. The food was well prepared and tasty, although not outstanding. The serv...

We live near the castle and had to taste the restaurant every time we visited the beautiful park. We finally made it for lunch on a beautiful summer day when the environment was best. The best part... the lunch ended there. We chose the weekday dinner card of the main course Dessert at a price specified in the menu to Euro 24,90 per person (a glass of wine or coffee was included in the price). Two of us had the salmon and the third had the cheese Ravioli for the main course. The food was very average for the price. For Dessert we had a fondant au chocolat that was innovative and tasty, a sorbet that was OK and a coffee (instead of dessert) for the third. For wine we had 1 glass of Brouilly a...
