"Looked nice from the outside so decided to give it a go, not far from the Hilton we were staying at and can say, it's a quarter of the price and much better food here, the leib and seele starter mix of beer fruit juice...and elderflower was really nice, I don't drink beer but decided to give it a go and had to order another it was so good. My nana had the ravioli and I had the pork which came with crackling, dumpling, coleslaw which for me was more like sauerkraut, it was all amazing, it came out in record time and our waitress thankfully had a good grasp of English as my German is terrible, which for a neighborhood restaurant is fab. Give it a try"

Food is good, staff is polite, and the atmosphere is cozy. I had a salmon-like fish and it was good and well cooked. The beer was OK.

We've eaten here a few times, and the menu is always interesting and of a high quality. The prices are average for the location. The Kaiserschmarrn is amazing.

I really couldn’t understand why some visitors give it a five star, the quality of cooking is below average, the service lady is always with a poker face running between tables, totally overwhelmed. No worth a recommend or revisit. View menu

Very nice traditional Bavarian restaurant. It’s cozy with a good atmosphere. There is an attentive staff and you don’t have to wait to long until your order is delivered. Tasty and delicious regional dishes. Highly recommended!! Thumbs up !

I ate here twice. Once for breakfast when I had the Bauernschmaus: fried eggs and fried potatoes with bacon pieces. It was very good. I came back for dinner and ordered the Spanferkelkeulenbraten aus dem Rohr (slices of pork with gravy) and potato salad which...was very good. Recommended.

This is a local neighborhood restaurant. If you want the tourist experience, go to the Hofbrauhaus. But if want to experience a German neighborhood restaurant with great food and a friendly staff, this is the place. Every time I am in Munich, this is on...my list of must have dinners. The Weiner Schnitzel is the best I’ve had. View menu

This restaurant and beer haus is located in a quiet area near the tram station Paradiesstrasse, line Because of that, it is not very popular for tourists. However the food is very tasty and well done. I took a linguini with spargels which was...perfect and as a desert apple rings with ice cream.. amaizing. Prices are very convenient and the service good.

This is a nice local spot near the English Garden. They have menus available in English as well as German and the place has a neighborhood feel to it. They also serve breakfast. While not open very early the option is there to get breakfast...if you are staying in the neighborhood. We had the roast pork and white fish for dinner. While the menu is not very broad the food was good and the service was as well.

"Indian restaurants are becoming almost as ubiquitous in Munich as Italian restaurants lately, or so it would seem. So why did I give this one get 5 stars? In part because Yelp doesn't allow for half star ratings and I didn't feel right giving four after my wonderful dinner experience there and the excellent meals my guy has had there before me. Kamasutra is close to his work and we had dinner here after him and work friends raved about this place for lunch. They've only been open for about three months but it's a regular lunch stop for them now. One thing I noticed early on, they do not take shortcuts. Great care is put into food and service. The menu is varied, good selection of wine and cocktails too. Service was friendly and attentive from start to finish. The interior is more modern and sleek than most Indian resto's. But what about the FOOD? We were in curry heaven. I had a jumbo shrimp curry and he had a chicken vindaloo. Sauces for both were rich, had complex, nuanced flavors and were not greasy or oily. And when they say spicy, they mean spicy, so for those of you lamenting the lack of proper spice level, make your way here NOW. If you don't want your curry toned down for the German palate, do have some here. Lovely garlic naan, very generous serving of good basmati. Delicious mango cream for dessert and real chai that wasn't syrupy sweet. Kamasutra is a real gem and a welcome addition to Munich."
