"Beautiful food all home cooked. The staff were excellent providing a brilliant service x there were 19 of us and every meal was served piping hot. All the staff were very attentive and offered us extra side dishes. Drinks were brought to us with no one waiting. Everyone at the party really enjoyed thier evening and we will all be returning x thank you to everyone who worked very hard to ensure my daughters 16th birthday was one to remember."

"I was next to be served. From then on I stood there for nearly 10 minutes with 3 staff behind the counter. I waited patiently to place my order whilst one member of staff was stood putting sandwiches in the toaster waiting for them to finish and then putting another in. Not once did anyone say “be with you shortly” etc. no apology for the wait. Could’ve started my sandwich or spoke to me at the very least. I asked if anyone was serving, in which, the lady responded with “I’ll finish these first if that’s ok?”. I just felt the absolute basics of customer service wasn’t met. Didn’t acknowledge me once."

"I ate with my 3 children and we all had delicious hot food that all came at the same time. The service was perfectly orchestrated by Lee who also sorted out the 30% of mains for us. The whole team were very friendly and were only too happy to serve us very quickly. On ordering my food I was asked if we had any food intolerances or allergies. In summary, the visit was perfect and we will definitely be returning to the Sampson Blewitt."
