L'Osteria - Menu

Das Personal war super nett und das Ambiente ist innen und außen schön. Ich man manche vorherigen Bewertungen da nicht verstehen. Man bekommt für 8-11 Euro eine Wagenrad-große Pizza, die schon über den Teller hinaus ragt. Reste werden gerne zum Mitnehmen eingepackt. Also alles paletti.

Arrived there on a sunday around pm, quite filled with a few bigger tables free. Service did not want to give us persons) a table for persons. Rude waiter offered us to wait or leave. We decided to leave, no reason to...pay for such a service. Got pushed out then. We will never try this restaurant again.

A local friend warned me about the service in this restaurant. But it was a nice day, with a crave of our group to pizzas. Hey, part of us ordered beer, and after half an hour, we didn’t get it. Not speaking about ordering food....The staff was there, the restaurant was almost empty. But they were so arrogant. We left, never again.

One star for the beautiful location. We waited minutes for drinks, an hour for the food and then they served only half of the dishes. Rest came minutes later the pizza was stone cold. Instead of making a new one it was...warmed up in the oven and therefore too crispy. Worst service ever! This restaurant survives just because of the location. What an unused opportunity!!!

Might it be that the chef has changed? We had lunch at l'Osteria and we were all of us completely deceived by the taste of the food. Pizza were ok although poor in ingredients, but we ordered pasta with paprika lemon that tasted like...nothing, although this used to be a good dish. The restaruant was full for lunch in a week day.. but really? quality has gone down. too bad.

We had a pizza between the two of us with a compari and beer and some tap water. It was fine and one pizza was enough for two, in fact they cut it into two and such was the size we originally thought we had...been misunderstood and had received two! The pizza was ok but the main pleasure here is the view of the river and other people. The service was excellent,and no remarks about tap water, thx Jule, price was good.

Arrived Monday at about to be told the table we were sitting at was for and moved our to a table too small to eat at . After finally collecting our own English menus we ordered drinks and food at the same...time . minutes later I went to ask where our drinks were ??? while looking for our drinks waiter , most of the food arrived . I was told we didn't get our drinks due to not having the wine we ordered ??? Pizzas were good and a large size hence large table required . Pasta was ok but cold after they forgot to bring it with our other food . all in all ok food but absolutely terrible service from waiters who were too busy on their phones .

In summary terrible service. After spending a nice day at the royal grounds in Potsdam we decided to stop at L'Osteria as the patio location on the river edge was very inviting. However, the gentleman who greeted us adults, a toddler and two...infants) was immediately rude. Once we were seated, the experience did not improve. The servers were inattentive and sometimes flat out rude (for example, they did not initially want to bring a glass of milk for one of the children). The food was OK but not remarkable, other than the pizzas which were large and quite good. If you care at all about your service experience I would recommend you try somewhere else.

Staying in Berlin, but we were on a day trip to Potsdam area.. Saw this Italian restaurant beside the river and decided to try for a table.. Sunny Saturday lunchtime.. Tables outside mostly all taken and when we walked in the door it looked busy...but.. The guy.. Looked like the manager.. Found us a window table for We ordered two pizzas and lasagne.. You can actually see the young guys preparing the pizzas from scratch.. I have visited Italy many times and these were pretty authentic to be honest. And huge! My wife had the lasagna and said it was perfetto.. Great food.. Very good price given the location.. (I expected it to be more expensive).. The restaurant is really clean.. Lovely decor...
