Had a delightful light lunch with a glass or two of excellent Italian wine this time. The tartiflette was especially delicious. Thank you, Luc.

Best French cuisine in Romsey! We had Luc, the owner, to provide us a table reservation for 2 people and Louis to serve us the food and drinks. We ordered off from the specials menu and both men were very pleasing, kind and friendly towards us. We had two drinks each TWO LOTS of sparkling white wine!! View menu

We went to buy some cheese and wine today, meeting again our good friend Luc and son Louis. This wine wine and fine wine and food establishment is a jewel in Romsey. Nothing is too much trouble, whether it be explanations of quality wines available , the cheeses or cold meats. All is tasteful environment, welcoming manner.

We booked a table for Saturday lunch and enjoyed a mixed meat and cheese platter as well as a board of foie gras. Great food and ambience, excellent service and fair prices. This business deserves your support and you won’t be disappointed. We understand that they do wine tastings too. You can choose a bottle from their shelves and enjoy it there for the shelf price plus £4.50 corkage. We will definitely be back!!!

Found this place by chance and what a find! Absolutely fantastic wine bar with an exceptional wine and cheese choice. Amazing ambience, Luc and his son were the perfect hosts, would definitely recommend this place. Prices for a wine bar were very cheap compared to most others I have visited, wish I had a place like this where I lived. My partner speaks French so this was a bonus too, although Luc's English is perfect. View menu

Popped in for ham 4 slices £9.60 no problem, went to pay with my phone was a problem. ! £10 limit no problem I said I’ll buy something else the person made me feel awkward when I stated I didn’t have cash and a lot of people didn’t anymore he proceeded to mumble and passed me the ham wrapped in paper no bag ! People inside looked to be enjoying themselves obviously spending more than me !!! Be nice your customers maybe you were busy, however your attitude wasn’t great ! I had high expectations for this restaurant but unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. Despite its small size, it was always busy, which initially seemed like a good sign. The wine selection was impressive, and my glass of prosecco was delicious. However, when we ordered a chocolate fondant (one of my favorite desserts) from this French restaurant, we were expecting it to be fantastic. Unfortunately, it was overcooked to the point where it was rubbery and not gooey inside at all. It seemed like it had been microwaved and forgotten about. I may return for a drink in the future, but if a French restaurant can't get a chocolate fondant right, it makes me doubt the quality of any other...

My wife and I visited for lunch on a Thursday. We had booked and it was just as well, because the tables were full.My wife ordered a twice-baked cheese souffle, which looked and tasted delicious. I selected a dish off the specials board: Parma ham with truffles, Pecorino heese with truffles, platter with sliced baguette, This was spectacular. A very large portion of lean ham edged with black truffle, the sheep 's milk cheese containing black dote of truffle. I ordered a small bowl of French cornichons in addition.
