"I am a big fan of Sea Containers. I have probably been there about 8 or 10 times over the last 5 years for brunch on a Saturday with a friend. We most recently went last Saturday. Saturday brunch is the best because it’s very relaxed and you can enjoy the bottomless brunch where glasses are generously refilled with Prosecco, but not to excess. They’ve updated the menu recently. I always enjoy the crab and avocado on sourdough. The view is so beautiful- I love looking at St Paul’s Cathedral in the distance from the table and I have so much to talk about with my friend that we stay for about four hours and they never make us feel rushed. We then have tea and coffee at the same table before we leave. It’s great location on the Southbank right next to the Thames and it’s only five minutes from Blackfriars station and 10 minutes from Waterloo. So a great place to meet a friend. I’ve already booked for my birthday in November!"

After lot of walking at the Tate Modern, it was quite restful to find this restaurant. Good menu and wine list made our lunch very pleasant.

Delicious food and exceptional service. Beautiful restaurant in a fantastic spot on the Thames. I would highly recommend visiting this London gem.

In a lovely area over looking the Thames. Nice warm customer service, a good menu with something for everyone. We had the whole sea bass to share which was delicious. Highly recommended

I recently had the privilege of enjoying an extraordinary dinner, and I must say, it was an experience beyond compare. From the moment I walked in, the warm ambiance and attention to detail set the stage for an unforgettable evening. The true star of the evening was undoubtedly the manager, Mr. Charlie and our dedicated waiter, exhibited a remarkable level of professionalism and hospitality. He ensured that every guest felt valued and attended to. Thank you! View menu

This is my second visit to Sea Containers, both times with family members, and I must say that the service, food, and hospitality were absolutely amazing. I would like to extend a special thank you to Tugend Demir, who is truly a five-star professional. He went out of his way on both occasions to make our experience pleasant and memorable. I'd also like to express my gratitude to Malcolm, Guisy, and Hikmet – what a wonderful team. While Sea Containers is already a great place, it's the staff that truly makes it special. My family and I will undoubtedly return again and again x

Spectacular location with amazing views of the river. I enjoyed private dining with colleagues over the lunch period. The food was amazing and the portions were very generous. We had a set menu shared between us, which included steak, fish, mushrooms etc They had a good selection of wine and a variety of cocktails. When we had finished the lunch, we were quickly ushered out of the private dining area into the bar area as they needed to carry out training there. However, the experience at the bar was not as we had expected as we were rushed to finish drinks to make way for another reservation. We ended up going to another bar to finish off our evening. Would certainly return but would prefer...

Enjoyed share plates with foodie friends and we all thorougly enjoyed the variety, the presentation and quantity was excellent. Well worth travelling from Australia to enjoy the 4 cheese croquettes alone delicious food and appreciated the anniversary acknowledgement. Being a Sunday night, not crowded at all and had lovely, comfortable seating in a booth. Unfortunately all the lighting within the restaurant reflects onto the windows so you can't see the stunning view outside as much as we'd hoped for, but still most enjoyable. Attentive serving staff make for a great overall experience. The location is a little hidden off the main tourist track but you'd have no problems accessing during the... View menu

Been here a few times over the last year and had a great time . They have changed the menu for a couple of weeks and the choices are limited. I ordered the fish pie (They should call it mash potato pie. Hardly any fish and a few peas , to be fair they removed it from the bill So let’s talk about the bill At the start of the meal they poured 6 glasses of water that’s fine out of a plain bottle. So here come the bill. £6.00 for Thames water out of a tap. I complained to a member of staff who was clueless about charging for tap water . You need to look on the internet it’s against the law to charge for tap water , please don’t con your customers.Considering it was a Bank hoilday there was more...

The hotel itself is quite spectacular looking and the restaurant had good views across the river. Our waitress was a delight but clearly not trained on the menu as she had to ask several times for information that we requested; but her friendliness and enthusiasm meant it wasn’t an issue The food itself was just okay nothing memorable. Smoked salmon was the best part (was it Foreman’s? and the bread with marmite butter we ordered to go with it. Our mains were just ‘ok’ I had halibut and whilst well cooked was rather tasteless and the green beans we had on the side were al dente to the point of raw! The cheesecake actually itself tasted of sweet cream the accompanying strawberries were its sa...
