"Small cocktail bar on the Taunusstr. Excellent cocktails. Often frequented by the 20's something crowd but they always put up with our visits. We come in once a month on the strength of the cocktails... particularly the Basil Daquiri which is divine. Solid line-up of classic and exotic cocktails and the bartenders know their stuff. The Mint Julep they made could have been served at Churchill Downs. Ambience is a bit odd as the place is very dark... basically a lounge vibe. Still, the drinks are so good we can't avoid stopping in every once in a while. On edit: we've never figured out if this is a gay bar or not. Some nights it kind of seemed that way. Not that we care.... but if you're gay you can maybe add it to your list. Worst case scenaiio you'll get a good cocktail."

This bar has some of the best drink I've ever had! The staff is friendly and the service is usually pretty quick considering how crowded it can get. It is pretty dark inside and the music is usually really loud so it's hard to talk with your friends but it's one of our go to places because the drinks are so darn delicious!

Had the Madelaira. I think that's how you write it :p super delicious cocktail. Fresh mint gave it a refreshing flavor. Totally recommend it. The bar itself has a great dark moody feel to it with great lounge music playing in the back. It's always pretty crowded though. But if you get lucky you'll find a nice spot. Now in spring and summer they have seating outside which is nice.

Ordered the Moscow Mule. Delicious. Friends ordered the Hugo. Delicious as well. Looks like a big wine spritzer. Tastes like a blend of exotic fruit flavors and is a touch sweet but not syrupy. Bartenders were friendly and served our party of four very quickly. For groups I recommend getting there early to snag the big seating area near the window. This way you can be inside but people watch the whole time. Would definitely come back again.
