"Die für mich schönste Location am Wasser in Gießen. Direkt am Hafen des Marinevereins liegt diese Gastronomie. Die Auswahl ist überschaubar aber vollkommen ausreichend. Die Salate sind groß und können begeistern. Der Burger kommt als recht großes Exemplar auf dem Teller daher. Geschmacklich solide und nicht ganz auf dem Niveau eines GutBurgerlich. Ganz klar steht für mich bei einem Besuch hier die Lahnlage im Vordergrund. Sonnenuntergang direkt an der Lahn ist schon ein Argument. Ein weitere Pluspunkt ist die limitierte Anzahl an Sitzplätzen. Es kommt nie zu einem Gefühl der Massenabfertigung a la Bootshaus.Von daher ist der Marineverein schon fast ein kleiner Geheimtipp."

Be welcome and be pampered! The entire team of Marinestubes welcomes guests and is more than attentive! Ground kitchen with one and other surprise at a very good price-performance ratio. You sit right on the lad and certainly not on the dry! We always like to come and let us pamper!

We had a great evening in a beautiful atmosphere. The food was excellent, great quality. The service deserves special recognition, it is repeatedly asked if you still need something. The team is doing a great job. The owner is warm and you feel welcome. We'll come back and make the naval bars a regular restaurant.

A restaurant where you are welcome and served top. We were there a few times and it was always super delicious. A very nice boss with top waiters. The dishes and cocktails/aperitifs have always cost us and the food was always nicely dressed. The eye is known with Vorallem now in summer it is very nice to leave the evening out there and watch the sunset with a glass of wine. We're coming back! View menu

Wir waren jetzt schon zum 2. Mal am Mittwochabend beim Grillbuffet. Für 23€ bekommt man hier soviel man essen kann. Die Qualität der Speisen ist sehr sehr gut! Hier gibt es auch mal andere Fleischgerichte als Steak und Würstchen, z.B. einen Krustenbraten oder Tafelspitz. Außerdem jede Menge Beilagen, wie Bratkartoffel, Grillgemüse, Nudel-, Kraut- oder auch Kartoffelsalat. Außerdem sitzt man wunderschön direkt an der Lahn. Wir können das Grillbuffet nur jedem empfehlen!

I was invited to my cousin's birthday party. The restaurant itself is medium sized and very clean also in terms of the toilet. There are usually 7-8 employees in the shop (kitchen incl. and the order cannot wait long. There is also the possibility to organize a celebration in a big tent. The food came warm, beautifully decorated and it tasted very good. As you can see on the picture, I ordered Argentine rumbags with peachlings (my recommendation). I would definitely recommend it.
