Very nice setting, good service and pleasant kitchen

Was staying in the hotel so a no brainer ....the dinner we had lived up to the Restaurants reputation excellence food with great service ............

This restaurant is highly recommended. My wife and I enjoyed an excellent set menu steak dinner, while our daughter had an equally good a-la-carte experience.

We have been here many times. The food is good, the service OK, lovely views and if you can eat on the narrow terrace you can see over the stream to the island with a few animals on it.

Great food and ambiance, really enjoyed eating here and the view is lovely. Very stylish, fairly expensive but you get what you pay for. nice to be able to have a drink after dinner in a lounge also.

Wonderful time for the last evening of our holiday, fantastic food, fabulous staff, with lots of before and after extra gastronomic treats, ended by liqueur coffee on the terrace, with beautiful illuminated view of the moulin race complete with swan, goose and ducks at 10pm.

Visited for sunday lunch at the end of a week visiting restaurants around Dordogne (where we live) and Charante maritime. This was the MOST expensive of all the places we ate in, many of which were Michelin starred. Allthough the food was well prepared and presented, the standard did not match the price. Limited choice and and win list very sparse and/or overpriced.

great stay, very quiet and comfortable room, nice greeting and service from all throughout. pool looks beautiful even though we didn't use it. breakfast room overlooks a river and island with habitable goats, sheep and geese that was really sweet. we almost got no table. in the restaurants (so make sure they book) and at the end when we eat and service was excellent. we will definitely visit again.

Had our family dinner on Sunday evening to celebrate my husband birthday!Very lovely and peaceful place to come over. Good and kind staff working!I had the foie gras with spiced ice cream for my starter which was wonderful and tuna for the main. Tuna was perfectly cooked. Personally would change that sweet rice for something else. However,the Charlotte dessert OhDear God! You need to work on it. Honestly!(((No like at all. Visually looks terrible!My husband and father in law had 80€menu! Ripping the money off from you!Shame!!!Carpaccio had no seasoning on it and it was tastles.Overal, one time visit and ripping money off for what they are offering you!
