"Over the past few years we have always warned food and drove mega satisfied home. But the last two visits about February 22 and today were mega disappointing. Appetizers were in order Main menu was unfortunately the meat burned strongly, which it really burned. Under a good gyro I understand something else, the zatziki was not a zatziki. Today, the menu was greatly reduced, which I do not want to complicate. But then everything should be available. There are certainly human problems. Like everywhere. But still I demand good food for my money. The service is friendly and accommodating. Too bad the quality of the Greek. Let food so be desired. I hope and hope that this will go up in the future."

"The town was busy but the Proprietor went to great lengths to find us a table which would be suitable at a reasonable time. The Turkish menu had food for all our tastes and everyone seemed to enjoy the meal with hardly anything left on...the plates. We also managed desserts, coffee and a few drinks in a good atmosphere and thoroughly enjoyed our evening. One highlight was the interaction with the Proprietor, a thoroughly charming and helpful gentleman who was happy to practice his English skills. He was very proud of his family and his business and we learned much about his exploits. Just when we thought that the evening was concluding he provided us with complimentary drinks on the house and by the end we were sad to leave. We were hoping to go back the next day but travel arrangements rendered this impossible but when we are next in Kempen, I would have no hesitation in returning to the Ela."

"had booked literally months ago for people, incl. family from New Zealand! we had confirmed the booking, thought everything was sorted. at the arrival we were told that we have the table in a really rude ton and wise. this has never been agreed... at the original booking I would have sorted something differently for adults. it forced us in a real, so disappointed. I am appalled, I lied to the reviews, don't need a good customer service anymore!"
